General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) ghostly mystery man will be revealed. It may not be Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) who’s haunting Liz’s dreams based on the latest clues.
Of course, we should note that storylines often shift gears depending on where the writers decide to take them.
Even if this started out as a story driven by dead Franco, it doesn’t mean it’ll stay that way.
There’s also a chance that was merely a jumping off point for Liz going off the rails and accessing some long-buried trauma.
Liz may have blocked out some traumatic memories from her past – perhaps something that would explain why her parents kept their distance for so many years.
There has to be some way for Liz’s storyline to include Jeff Webber (last played by Richard Dean Anderson) since there’s so much focus on him now.
We should also mention that the guy in Liz’s dreams didn’t really resemble or sound like Franco, so it may be someone else who’s urging Liz not to forget him.
Liz might’ve been dreaming of her dad or maybe it’ll be someone more sinister in the end.
Maybe Liz’s buried trauma happened due to this mystery man who’ll be revealed and was invented for the sake of this storyline.
Whatever the case, an interesting clue came in the form of the “DON’T FORGET ME” artwork.
The message was written on art that seemingly depicted some sort of tropical location.
Could that fit with April 7 spoilers where two surprising people meet in a tropical locale?
It’s a possibility to consider since the message being painted on an island background seems significant.
It’s clear that there’s more to Liz’s storyline than meets the eye. This seems less about the stalker and more about what pain of the past Liz has blocked out.
There may be some connection to the last summer Liz spent with her parents before they shipped her off to live with her grandmother.
Regardless, Liz doesn’t seem OK at all and may be experiencing some sort of mental break.
On the bright side, maybe Liz is finally ready to remember whatever it is that she’s blocked out – no matter how traumatic it might be.
Liz could find closure if she works through whatever her subconscious is dealing with.
