General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there are some good reasons to think Lulu Spencer’s (last played by Emme Rylan) comeback might be in the works. For starters, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) needs at least one of her children on canvas.
Lucky Spencer (Jonathan Jackson) is offscreen doing his own thing – and now Marcus Coloma has been fired as Nikolas Cassadine. Unless the show brings a new Nikolas in for keeps, Laura won’t have any of her kids in Port Charles with her.
Perhaps Laura could lose a son and gain a daughter if Lulu’s return follows Nik’s PC exit. Lulu has been stuck in limbo long enough anyway.
Whether Emme Rylan returns or a recast takes over, this just feels like the right time to start thinking about Lulu emerging from her coma.
Could GH writers have a spring awakening in mind for Lulu?
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) might be on the road to marriage by then.
This duo could make some relationship updates just before Lulu wakes up and comes home.
Of course, Dante and Sam will no doubt have some issues to work through thanks to the secrets he’s keeping.
There’s something buried in Dante’s past with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) that he hasn’t shared with Sam just yet.
However, Dante may ultimately draw Sam closer once he finally trusts her with the truth.
It seems like a simple case of Dante and Cody’s childhood fun ending in disaster.
This isn’t going to be some earth-shattering secret that forever changes Sam’s view of Dante.
Sam has made her fair share of past mistakes and may feel a stronger connection with Dante once he comes clean.
It’s the kind of thing that could inch Dante and Sam toward an engagement, which would give Lulu a wedding to interrupt at some point!
This story is just begging for Lulu to derail Dante and Sam’s nuptials when the time is right.
All the pieces may be in place for Lulu Spencer to make a GH comeback in 2023.
