There’s surely a reason why GH writers decided to make Spinelli single again.
If Spinelli was only going to pop up for random appearances to help the Corinthos clan, why not just let him be happy in an offscreen romance?
The fact that Spinelli and Ellie Trout (Emily Wilson) couldn’t make it work suggests the show has some romantic plans for him.
Since Spinelli is Maxie’s ex and shares a child with her, there’s always going to be a chance for them to reconnect.
That brings us to some spoilers that might point in a more romantic direction for Maxie and Spinelli.
We’ll see some tension break out as Maxie, Austin, Spinelli, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) all hit the boxing gym on April 13.
Of course, Brook Lynn and Chase are obviously headed for a love story of their own.
They just have to let go of their fears and finally surrender to what they feel for each other.
Meanwhile, Maxie is currently involved with Austin and seems excited about where things might lead.
With all that in mind, why is Spinelli even going to be involved in these boxing gym scenes?
It makes sense that perhaps a love triangle is brewing featuring Spinelli, Austin and Maxie.
Otherwise, what’s the point of throwing Spinelli into the mix with Austin, Maxie, Brook Lynn and Chase?
Plus, we’ve got an awkward interaction between Maxie and Spinelli coming up on April 20.
That could be another tense moment where Spinelli and Maxie address the previous gym drama.
It could bring some apologies and will certainly keep Spinelli in Maxie’s orbit.
GH fans will see more Spinelli scenes than usual – and they’re going to be with Maxie!
That alone brings the possibility of Maxie rekindling something with Spinelli and could set the stage for a love triangle with Austin.
