General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) could become the hook’s deadly target. Will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) fear losing another son after this baddie strikes even closer to home?
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) is struggling to figure out the connection between the victims at the moment. The only real link Jordan can find is that Sonny is closely connected to both Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).
Of course, GH viewers know a bit more than the characters right now. The person holding the hook watched Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and was seemingly ready to stab her until Brando appeared.
That means Ava and Josslyn were the attacker’s intended targets, so Brando just wound up in the wrong place at the wrong time. Even so, this Sonny theme may continue and become something that the PCPD latches onto even further.
That’s especially true since Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is growing increasingly suspicious of Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Dante doesn’t trust Dex, but he’ll certainly trust his instincts during the week of September 26-30. That could be why Dex is going to land in hot water.
Dex will worry about his cover being blown – or worse, going down for crimes he didn’t commit. Naturally, there’s the potential for Michael to become a victim of the hook villain at some point.
That’d really bring the story to an exciting climax and leave Sonny wondering if Dex tried to kill his son. This could lead to the exposure of Dex as a double agent and make him the top suspect, even if he’s innocent.
However, Dex would surely be safer in police custody than out on the streets with Sonny in that case! Dex may worry that he’ll either land in prison or face death by Sonny if he can’t clear his name.
There’d be a lot of dramatic potential in Michael becoming a hook victim down the road. It’s easy to imagine Sonny sitting by Michael’s bedside regretting the time they wasted estranged and fighting.
Sonny might vow to fix their relationship somehow if Michael will just pull through. Since Sonny already lost Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), he couldn’t bear to lose another son.
This would also bring total terror for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), who would fear losing the man she loves an the father of her children. The fact that Willow could lose her own life to cancer would raise the stakes and make her fret over the kids growing up all alone.
Bottom line, it looks like there’ll be more Sonny-linked victims, even if that’s not the common thread that the cops need to be looking at. Sonny fears his family is under attack, so Michael could become a target sooner or later.
