General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may defend Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) secret-keeping and enrage Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) after her Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) bio ties are exposed.
Sooner or later, Willow’s going to learn the truth about her birth mother – and she’ll learn Carly has been sitting on this secret, too.
Carly loves to rant about how Nina hid Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) away from his family in Nixon Falls, but is she any better when she’s keeping Nina away from her only remaining daughter?
Of course, you could argue that Carly deserves revenge, but Willow doesn’t deserve to be deceived.
Willow has been lied to more than enough, so Carly owes her the truth about what she knows.
However, something tells us Michael won’t see it that way once he becomes privy to Carly’s secret.
There’s a chance Michael will join Carly in keeping it since this involves Nina – and we all know how much they both hate her guts.
Then again, it’s possible Michael will find out at the same time as Willow down the road. Regardless, Michael may find himself in a familiar position.
Although Michael has been quick to judge Sonny and push him away, Carly may not get the same treatment.
Michael tends to go easier on his mom since they tend to think alike.
Carly and Michael share the same views on Nina, so he may understand why she did her best to protect Willow from the real story.
Nevertheless, Willow is clearly tired of people treating her like a child who needs to be shielded.
The truth matters more to Willow at this point, so she’s probably going to blow her top.
Anyone in Willow’s spot would be livid over Carly holding back such massive information.
Likewise, Willow should be furious with Michael if he rushes to Carly’s defense.
From where Willow’s standing, Carly may be a total hypocrite for keeping a life-changing secret – just like Nina kept quiet about “Mike” aka Sonny’s past.
The fact that Michael’s probably going to back Carly up could be enough to destroy his relationship with Willow and tear apart Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) family!
