General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) may remarry Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) ahead of her cancer fight. Will Michael want an ASAP wedding so they can stand together as husband and wife?
At this point, Willow doesn’t know exactly what she’s up against.
All Willow knows is that her white blood cell count is elevated – and a concerned TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) doesn’t think it’s related to her pregnancy.
Unfortunately, some follow-up tests will confirm some bad news.
Since Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) will soon offer Willow guidance on the next steps, all signs point to Willow having some form of cancer.
Whether it’s leukemia or another type, Willow’s going to be facing a major health battle.
Once Michael is finally brought in the loop, you can bet he’ll promise that they’ll get through this together.
Michael might even want to prove it by popping the question again and urging Willow to become his wife once more.
The last time Michael and Willow married it was because of the Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) custody case, but now Michael may insist it’s about love and support.
Michael may not want to wait a moment longer to show he’s behind Willow 100 percent.
Maybe Michael will deliver a romantic marriage proposal and convince Willow that they should navigate this difficult path as a married duo.
Willow and Michael are obviously a solid couple who couldn’t be happier in each other’s arms.
Right now, Michael and Willow’s only issue is this medical crisis that’s brewing, so they might as well tie the knot and tackle it as a united team.
Of course, a marriage could raise the stakes once Carly Corinthos’ (Laura Wright) secret comes out.
Carly is hiding the fact that Willow is Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) biological daughter – and that could end up being pretty important if Nina needs to be a bone marrow donor or something along those lines.
Regardless, Willow and Michael will have to take sides down the road.
There’s the potential for clashing if Michael cuts Carly some slack when Willow doesn’t. Any marriage that might happen now could ultimately become strained.
Nevertheless, it’s easy to see why Michael might push for a new wedding and hope to show Willow the depth of his support.
