General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Selina Wu (Lydia Look) may form an alliance. Will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) face a double betrayal that leads to disaster?
GH fans know Michael had the usual harbormaster fired, which left Selina concerned enough to seek out Sonny.
Selina doesn’t approve of the change since the old harbormaster was crucial when it came to ease of passage for her product.
Now Selina’s shipments could be under more scrutiny, so it’s easy to see why she’s worried.
Selina questioned if someone new was making a move, but Sonny pushed her to butt out and let him handle it.
This alliance is becoming more fragile every day, so that presents an opportunity for Michael.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) has been trying to convince Michael to back off, but Michael wants Sonny to pay for violating his family’s code.
Michael pointed out that he wasn’t doing anything illegal, so he might want someone like Selina to take the lead on the illegal end.
That would keep Michael’s hands clean – not to mention Sonny wouldn’t see Michael coming.
Michael already hired Dex (Evan Hofer) to take Sonny down, but it’s doubtful Dex can pull it off as a one-man inside job.
Dex can chip away at Sonny’s power and stir up trouble, but it’s going to take someone else who’s truly powerful in the mob game to destroy Sonny.
Sonny has repeatedly mentioned how he can trust Selina to honor their agreement, which could be a sign that he really can’t.
Will Michael present Selina with an offer she just can’t refuse and join forces against Sonny?
That move would be risky, but it’d be the smartest one Michael could make if it proved successful.
Selina has been inching closer to Sonny’s territory with all the deals she’s been pushing for, so Michael could offer a chance for her to swoop in with a full takeover.
Ms. Wu would surely like to be the new top dog in Port Charles and leave Sonny wondering what hit him!
