General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, December 26, tease that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will move ahead with a significant choice – one that’s going to catch Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) off guard.
Britt has already been dropping hints about how Terry would do great as a solo chief of staff, but now it’s probably time to admit
it’s actually happening. Since Britt lied to Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) about a potential new job in Boston, she might tell that same lie to Terry.
Regardless, Britt will deliver quite a bombshell when she presumably admits she’s resigning from her position and letting Terry take the reins at GH on her own.
The news should leave Terry with plenty of questions and suspicions, but Britt will try to hide the truth about her Huntington’s disease.
Over with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), he’ll have some positive guidance for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Since Cody obviously still has feelings for Britt, Cody may give his buddy a nudge to fight for her.
Later, Dante will have a surprising encounter with Heather Webber (Alley Mills), who’ll be at the hospital for an exam.
It looks like this will be the last hurdle before Heather is sent back to D’Archam, but she’ll do everything in her power to avoid returning to the asylum.
Instead, Heather will turn on the charm with Dante and insist she knows Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) must be sitting on Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) information.
Heather will offer to get her hands on that information through her own connection to Ryan, but she’ll be careful not to spill anything about their history.
Heather will just act like she’s very in sync with Ryan and will suggest she understands what makes him tick.
All Heather will ask for in return for Ryan’s secrets will be an extended stay at Spring Ridge.
Despite Heather’s wildcard status, Dante will see the potential to make progress in the hook case.
If there’s a chance Heather might lead the cops to Esme through her Ryan link, Dante will think they have to take it.
Once Dante fills in Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Mac Scorpio (John J. York), they’ll work out an official deal for Heather.
Of course, Heather will just be manipulating the situation in her favor since she won’t plan on doing anything that would harm Ryan and Esme at all!
Esme will remain stuck at Wyndemere for a bit longer, but she’s got a few tricks up her sleeve.
The same goes for Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) now that they’ve settled on a dangerous charade.
On Monday’s GH episode, Spencer and Trina will discuss how their fake dating plot’s going to go down.
Since Trina and Spencer don’t know Esme is Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) prisoner, they’ll hope a faux romance will convince Esme to expose herself.
Trina and Spencer will talk about their next step, so it won’t be long until they’re pretending they’ve fallen hard.
That won’t be very difficult since Spencer and Trina have legitimately fallen for each other. The truly tough part may be pretending that they’re only pretending!
