General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, February 21, teases that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will go too far while Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) Peter August (Wes Ramsey) plan is derailed. Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will also deliver a big surprise, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
At the Metro Court on Monday’s GH episode, Esme will show up fashionably late and rile Laura up.
Laura will be sick of Esme’s disrespect and will think it’s time to lay down the law.
Esme will officially push Laura to her breaking point, so Laura will spell out what she expects and insist that Esme needs to make some changes – at least if she’s going to keep living under her roof!
In the meantime, Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) will spill a secret to Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Joss will listen as Trina confesses something she’s been hiding – and it looks like this will lead to digging deeper into what happened at the cabin.
At some point during this conversation, Trina might also mention the gift Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) passed along for Valentine’s Day.
As for Spencer himself, he’ll be open to hashing things out with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and at least trying to find a path forward.
While Spencer and Nikolas talk at Spring Ridge, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will chat with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and wonder how her nephew is doing.
Olivia will confide Leo Falconeri’s (Easton Rocket) autism diagnosis and perhaps get Ava’s praise for how well the family’s adjusting.
Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) has been a huge help to Olivia through all his love and support.
Ned will remain devoted to giving Leo the special attention he needs to succeed and will help the kid out with some little hiccup on Monday.
In Switzerland, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will pretend she’s all about the truth, but she’ll really be lying to survive!
Maxie will continue to tell Peter what he wants to hear while secretly wondering how she’s going to get out of this mess.
A solo escape attempt could end in disaster since Maxie doesn’t know for sure how to leave.
Maxie obviously won’t be willing to stay there forever either. She needs to find a way home ASAP, especially since Peter may start pushing to make love soon.
Maxie will hope Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) figures out the clues she left behind and comes to rescue her.
Anna has made plenty of progress, but she’ll need to nail down another hint before she can figure out exactly where the farm is.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will help Anna as she fights to put the final puzzle pieces together.
They’ll need to proceed with caution or else they could blow this – giving Peter the chance to disappear with Maxie.
Dante certainly won’t want to start their search all over again, so he’ll feel like they have one shot to get it right.
As for Maxie, she’ll grow increasingly desperate as she considers what to do next.
Maxie may contemplate stealing Peter’s gun and just ending this nightmare permanently!
Victor has a similar idea when it comes to wiping Peter off the map – and he doesn’t care if Anna and Dante get killed in the process.
Drew will be protected due to his great value to Victor, but the danger will definitely ramp up when it comes to everyone else involved.
Although Victor has a WSB agent who’s been ordered to take Peter out, things won’t go according to plan.
The good news is Peter is set to die anyway soon. The bad news is Victor won’t have the satisfaction of being responsible.
Finally, Felicia is on the verge of showing up and helping Maxie like only a fierce mother can! It looks like Felicia’s surprise arrival will be a game-changer.
