General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 24, tease that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will demand answers from Jennifer Smith while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) makes a dangerous vow to Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Let’s talk about what’s coming up on Monday’s exciting episode.
Laura and Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) were just about to head home following the memorial when Jennifer Smith showed up.
Jennifer was Frank Smith’s daughter and someone who was previously obsessed with Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).
Jennifer is the kind of woman who resorted to kidnapping and death threats to force marriages, so she’s a real wildcard that Laura won’t want to see!
After Laura’s shock turns to anger, she’ll demand to know what Jennifer’s doing there and what she wants.
Jennifer will probably remain cryptic for the most part, but Laura may be convinced that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had a hand in Jennifer’s return to Port Charles.
Once Laura is alone with Spencer again, she’ll reiterate how important it is to keep a close eye on Victor and get to the bottom of his agenda.
Laura will promise to protect her family from harm – and Victor indeed seems to have more harm in mind.
GH spoilers say Victor will have a conversation with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and argue that they’re going to need each other for what’s coming next.
Valentin will try to get closer to Victor, who’ll question whether his son might be trying to play him.
Victor may warn that it’d be a mistake to go up against him in any way, especially since he’s already dropped some big hints about the trouble ahead.
Back on The Haunted Star, Sonny will keep pleading with Carly to just come home and work through their issues.
When Carly continues to put up a fight, Sonny will insist he’s going to show her just how much he loves her.
It’s clear that Sonny’s becoming increasingly unbalanced while off his meds.
Sonny just got involved in a major brawl at Charlie’s Pub, so there’s no predicting what his grand gesture to Carly might look like.
It’s dangerous for Sonny to be off lithium – and that means vows like this upcoming one are dangerous, too.
We won’t be surprised if Sonny does something crazy like jump into the harbor, but Carly will stand her ground on needing time and space.
Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), on the other hand, will decide to open the door to Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) just a crack.
At The Savoy, Curtis will admit to Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) that he asked Marshall to stop by.
There’ll be more progress in Curtis and Marshall’s relationship, but more setbacks could be coming up due to Marshall’s risky secrets.
At the Metro Court, Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will seem happy about something as she tells Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) there’s no time like the present.
Ned and Olivia are on the verge of giving Leo Falconeri (Easton Rocket Sweda) some exciting news.
Leo may get updates on Ned officially adopting him, so that’s certainly something positive for this family.
Olivia and Ned also plan to renew their vows, so they might try to get Leo hyped up for a party and cake.
Over with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), she’ll want to know what’s going on between Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms).
Britt will try to pry some answers out of Austin, so there could be a cute moment for Maxie to witness eventually.
General Hospital spoilers say Maxie will face an unpleasant realization that leaves her feeling hurt.
It’s possible Maxie will see Austin and Britt looking rather cozy, so that could bring some pangs of jealousy and regret.
Maxie will also show up at Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) new place at some point.
Maxie will announce that she’s there for her daughter, so Brook Lynn may have to talk Maxie out of reclaiming Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) just yet.
GH spoilers say Maxie will remain an emotional wreck, so don’t miss what’s in store.
