General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, January 31 – Carly’s Sad Confession – Franco Haunts Liz – Josslyn Pushes Trina for Truth

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 31, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will make a sad confession while the memory of Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) haunts Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also push Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) for the truth, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on the ABC soap.

First, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will warn Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) to never threaten to disappear again.

If Curtis is going to build a real relationship with his father, he needs to know Marshall isn’t going anywhere.

Of course, things could get tricky if Marshall is dying and hasn’t told Curtis that part of the story yet.

Whatever the case, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) will corner Marshall later for a tense discussion about the secrets he’s still keeping.

Stella will also appear to recognize Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), who’ll wonder if they know each other.

It looks like these two have a connection that’ll ultimately be revealed.

At the cabin, Trina will be feeling better once the effects of the drugs start wearing off.

Josslyn assumes what happened came about due to the booze and Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) pot-stirring, but she’ll also wonder how Trina really feels.

Joss will ask if the alcohol helped Trina admit to something that she’s been feeling.

Trina may try to downplay the confession she blurted out, but it does seem like she’s genuinely feeling like more of an outsider now that Josslyn and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) are dating.

As for Esme, she’ll snap at Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) during their car ride back to Port Charles.

Since Spencer isn’t sure what to believe about Esme anymore, she’ll announce that she doesn’t want to go home with him at all.

Esme might end up parting ways with Spencer for the night and secretly returning to the scene of the crime.

Esme set up a phone to film Cameron and Josslyn in bed together, so she’ll surely want to get her hands on the scandalous video she just made.

Spencer will start to realize his girlfriend may be a total nightmare, but he’ll also know he has to proceed with caution.

Sooner or later, Spencer will halfheartedly patch things up with Esme – mostly so he can keep an eye on her and make sure she doesn’t pull any other manipulative moves.

At GH, it seems Liz may make another Franco-related discovery in the art therapy room.

Liz will tell Finn that someone is determined to destroy Franco’s legacy, so she’ll feel rather haunted by the past – and that could present a problem for her future with Finn.

While Finn and Liz try to figure out where they stand, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will give Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) some good advice.

When Ned finds out Sonny wants to go against Carly’s wishes for time and space, he’ll advise against it.

Sonny will drop a hint about a grand gesture, but Ned will think he should reconsider whatever he’s planning.

Ned will worry Sonny could end up pushing Carly even further in the opposite direction if he’s not careful.

Over with Carly, she’ll already be feeling like happiness just seems further and further away.

Carly will confess that to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and struggle to hold onto hope when it comes to her crumbling marriage.

On a happier note, Michael will have a fun surprise for Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).

Willow will find out Michael wants to take her on a special trip to Paris, so she should be excited over their plans.

However, some shocking news and family drama could bring hurdles ahead of this Paris getaway.

Willow and Michael will have to deal with some unsettling curveballs, so don’t miss what’s brewing.

Finally, we should address Friday’s cliffhanger, which involved Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) having Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) chloroformed and thrown in the trunk of a vehicle.

Victor has gone to great lengths to silence Valentin, but it doesn’t look like we’ll see either of them in Monday’s episode.

It could be a little longer before the show clues fans in on the next phase of Valentin’s predicament.

General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will land in quite a jam, so stay tuned for more chaos.
