General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, July 18 – Brando Threatens Dex – Nina’s News for Liesl - Carly Vows Esme’s Takedown

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, July 18, tease that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will vow Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) takedown while Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) threatens Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will also have some big news for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati), so let’s discuss what’s in store.

At the courthouse, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will be hopeful that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) found the evidence needed to prove Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) innocence.

Since Curtis’ plan didn’t pan out, he’ll have to admit he can’t come through for Trina – at least not yet.

However, Curtis will hold out hope that he can still clear Trina’s name before time runs out.

Marcus Taggert (temporarily played by Asante Jones) will also be on hand to support Trina as her first day of trial gets underway.

Trina won’t realize there’s another scheme in play that could get her out of this jam as well.

At Wyndemere, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will present Esme with the chance to find out who her birth mother is.

The DNA results that Spencer cooked up will serve as proof, so Esme will have a big decision to make.

Esme turned down what was essentially Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) blank check and chance to get out of town following her signed confession.

Ava offered Esme no jail time and a chance to name her price, but Spencer thinks he’s found what Esme truly wants instead.

Spencer will offer mostly the same deal, but the grand prize at the center of it will be an opportunity to learn who Esme’s birth mother is.

Of course, Spencer doesn’t really know the answer, but he’s hoping he can dupe Esme into a full confession anyway.

Esme will inevitably have some doubts about Spencer’s story, especially since it may not line up with what Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) has told her about her bio mom.

Although Esme won’t accept Spencer’s deal yet, he’ll push her to take advantage before it’s too late.

Esme will also realize her reunion with Spencer was a farce, so that could be another hurdle for him.

Since Esme will get riled up over Spencer’s deception, it could make it harder for him to lock in the confession deal he wants.

Back in the courtroom, Carly will fume over the nightmare that Esme unleashed on Trina, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

Carly will hate what the other parents involved are going through too and will vow that Esme’s going to regret the day she ever messed with any of their kids.

Other GH spoilers say Brando will push Dex to follow orders or face the consequences. Brando will make it clear that he’ll deal with Dex if he doesn’t do what he’s told.

Dex and Brando had a nice moment at the hospital recently, but Brando will have no patience for his behavior on Monday’s episode.

Part of the tension may be due to how stressed out Brando is over Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), who’s refusing rehab.

TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will try to help Brando relax in the steam room, but it won’t do much to help.

Until Sasha can accept that she needs real treatment, Brando will feel the need to worry about her.

At the boxing gym, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will open up to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) about his argument with Nina.

That’ll bring Dante’s advice, but Sonny will eventually insist he’s done talking and will call for action.

Perhaps that’ll be Sonny’s way of saying he wants to spar in the ring and work off some of this frustration.

However, Sonny might also have to handle Brando and Dex’s latest round of conflict if things get too heated.

Since Sonny has already asked them to play nice, he may think they need a reminder.

At the cemetery, Nina will bump into Liesl unexpectedly.

That’ll give Nina a chance to complain about Carly, so it looks like she’ll contend that her rival is down but never out.

Nina should relay the news of her Metro Court offer and how she tried to offer Carly’s half as a gift.

Since that led to some drama with Sonny, Obrecht may offer some guidance on how to move forward.

General Hospital spoilers say Nina and Sonny will try to patch things up soon, so stick with the ABC soap.
