General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, July 25, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) filmed an incriminating Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) video while Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) landed in a coma after coding at GH.
In some shady stairwell, Sonny cornered Felty (Brian Norris) over his drug deals with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and pointed out that people who offend him tend to disappear.
Sonny punched Felty in the gut, but Dex got him on the floor and did most of the beating.
After Sonny suggested no one would ever find Felty’s body, Josslyn piped up after filming the whole thing nearby.
Josslyn made it clear that Sonny was busted and that he’d go to prison, but he urged her to think of Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and Donna Corinthos (Ava Rose).
Sonny didn’t think Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) would be happy with Josslyn either, but she scoffed over him trying to act like she was the guilty one.
After Sonny sauntered off, Dex begged Josslyn not to turn Sonny over since he’d go down, too.
After Dex alluded to his complicated working arrangement, he once again pleaded with Joss since this could ruin his life.
Josslyn decided too many lives had been ruined by Sonny already and deleted the video.
At home, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was with Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) when they revealed the pregnancy news to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Drew was thrilled for the happy couple as they all celebrated together.
Once Willow and Michael were gone, Drew shared a close moment with Carly and nearly kissed her before Sonny barged in.
Sonny ranted about Carly needing to control her daughter and offered updates on what just happened with Josslyn.
After Carly suggested Joss was a grown woman who could do what she wanted, Sonny argued that Carly was egging her on against him.
At one point, Drew spoke up to say Sonny should leave before things escalated.
Sonny made a comment about it being his house, but Drew clarified that it wasn’t anymore.
That irritated Sonny, who acted like it wasn’t Drew’s house either unless he’d moved in.
After Sonny warned that Carly had more to lose than her hotel, he left in a huff.
With a sly smile, Carly assured Drew that she had Sonny exactly where she wanted him.
At the stables, Michael assured Willow that he wasn’t focused on revenge and just wanted to do what was right.
Once Michael stood by his desire to cut Sonny out of the picture, he looked forward to his bright future with Willow.
However, Willow nervously flashed to TJ giving her the elevated white blood count results and seemed concerned.
At the Metro Court, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) pushed Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) to tell him about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial and learned it wasn’t going well.
Ava acted like Spencer shouldn’t care considering he’d taken Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) side, but Nikolas defended his son.
As for the trial’s outcome, Ava worried Trina would sink without a miracle witness.
At Oz the bartender’s place, Esme hid before Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) burst through the door.
Curtis found Oz looking out of it and got him to admit “she” gave him something, but he passed out before he could reveal more.
Once Curtis called for an ambulance, the paramedics took Oz away. Curtis also spoke to a cop and couldn’t look around since this had become a crime scene.
Esme was able to slip away and ultimately texted Nikolas to meet up.
After Esme said she wanted to come clean about their hookup to Spencer and Ava, Nikolas advised against it.
Esme played it like she had lost stability without her Spring Ridge internship and didn’t know where her future was headed.
Nikolas said he understood and vowed that Esme would everything she wanted by tomorrow.
At GH, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) worked on Oz, who wound up coding before being put into a medically induced coma.
Curtis explained to Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) why Oz could be a crucial witness in Trina’s case.
Curtis also suspected that Esme was the one who drugged Oz, but there was no way to prove anything as long as Oz was unconscious.
Esme called the nurses’ desk and pretended to be Oz’s daughter in Oregon, so she was able to fish for info and figure out Oz was in a coma.
Once Esme disconnected, she flashed a creepy smile.
By the Metro Court pool, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) had a romantic evening in store for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), but she couldn’t put up with all the dishonesty anymore.
After Anna called Valentin out for leaving the clinic early, he lied about being transferred to another one.
Valentin also suggested that he reluctantly trusted Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) to deliver to Charlotte Cassadine (Amelia McLain) to boarding school.
There was talk about the severity of Valentin’s infection and how he wanted Charlotte protected from his enemies while he was flat on his back.
Anna didn’t understand why Valentin would hide that from her, but he pretended he simply didn’t want her to see him as weak – like when they first met.
Since Anna still thought Valentin seemed troubled, he confessed there was indeed something troubling him.
The closer Valentin got to Anna, the more he feared losing her. Valentin ended up pulling Anna into a steamy kiss moments later.
General Hospital spoilers say Valentin is digging a deeper hole for himself with all the lies, so stay tuned for more drama.
