General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, June 13, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will strike out with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) while Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) mystery is solved. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) will also deal with his next visitor at GH, so let’s talk about what’s ahead.
Although Ryan was tickled pink over Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) seducing Nikolas, he turned on her just as fast. Esme caused nothing but disappointment when she revealed she was holding off on the big reveal, which would blow up Nikolas’ marriage to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
Ryan is ready to destroy Ava’s relationship and move on, but Esme will work to sway “Daddy” on the idea of dragging things out.
Of course, Ryan wasn’t born yesterday and may think Esme simply has the hots for Nik! While Esme and Ryan clash, Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will try to talk her way into Ryan’s exam room.
It seems Felicia’s plan will work and give her the opportunity to rip into Ryan, but her attention could fall on Esme initially. As a result, Esme may repeat her bogus story about being there due to her Spring Ridge internship.
Although Esme has her special board and has offered to help Ryan communicate, Felicia may think that’s a load of bull. Perhaps Felicia will suspect something more sinister if going on considering Esme’s reputation around town.
Whatever the case, Felicia may act like she’s got her eye on Esme. Ryan will get an earful from Felicia as well, but he’ll keep up his fake locked-in syndrome and silently seethe.
GH fans know Ryan has offered some hints about Felicia being Esme’s biological mother, so that shocker could cause major drama down the road.
In the meantime, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will listen to a business proposal, so Michael and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) may encourage her to make an Aurora investment.
Whether Lucy sinks some support into Aurora or not, Drew and Michael will soon find that they’re all set thanks to one very generous investor. Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) did exactly what Michael warned her not to do and sank a bunch of money into Aurora.
That’ll successfully drive the stock price up and put Michael as well as Drew in a better position ahead of the merger. Michael will be taken aback when he learns Carly is Aurora’s mystery investor and will no doubt lash out at his mom.
At the same time, Michael will have to thank Carly for her contribution since it’ll prove so helpful. Carly will pat herself on the back – and Drew will offer up some praise as well.
Unfortunately, Carly could be making a riskier move than she realizes. It seems like Carly’s investment is going to backfire in some way eventually, so that could cost her a lot of money.
As for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll count on Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) to stand his ground against the Quartermaine clan and be his own man. Valentin believes joining forces with Ned is the only way to stay in power at ELQ, so he’ll fight extra hard to seal the deal on this alliance.
At Wyndemere, Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) divorce bombshell won’t make any sense to Ava, who thought they were getting their marriage back on track.
Nikolas will assure Ava that they are and will truly want to be with her. Nevertheless, Nikolas may feel like divorcing and giving themselves a clean slate is the right call.
Nikolas may pitch the idea of a brand-new wedding instead of just a vow renewal. Ava will have to contemplate Nikolas’ wild idea and offer her true opinion.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also have a stroke of genius as he realizes Esme’s history is critical. If Spencer wants to take Esme down, he has to take a closer look at her past – specifically this Maggie Fitzgerald the nanny situation and whatever he can learn about Esme’s bio dad.
At the Metro Court, Sonny will talk to Jordan about a coffee shipment that’s been sitting around for far too long. Unfortunately, Jordan will tell Sonny to take it up with the harbormaster and will act like there’s nothing she can do.
Sonny will rant about not knowing who’s worse: the people who watch you burn or the people who light the match. That’ll make Jordan believe there’s more to Sonny’s foul mood than delayed coffee drama, so she’ll push him to open up.
Will Sonny admit he’s fuming over Michael’s revenge or keep Jordan guessing? Either way, Sonny will have to fight back and at least protect what’s his!
