General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, June 20, teases that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will settle on a top suspect while Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) pitches a Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) case study to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom). Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will also create a sizzling distraction, so there’ll be plenty of excitement playing out in Port Charles.
At the drive-in theater, Valentin will confess something, but it won’t be his guilt over what went down in French Polynesia.
Instead, Valentin will swing his date with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) back into flirty territory and could indulge in a make-out session or perhaps even more.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also discuss the Title IX decision with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner), Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews) and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr).
They’ll be concerned over Trina shutting them out, but she may argue that she needed some time to process.
Trina may also point out that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) has been by her side – though she may leave out the part where she almost got busted with a fake ID!
If it hadn’t been for Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) crush, the night could’ve ended on a very different note for Trina and Josslyn.
Fortunately, the crisis was averted, so Trina will be in surprisingly good spirits when she talks to Portia.
Now that Trina is taking a more active role in clearing her own name, it appears to be giving her more hope for the future.
Speaking of the future, Esme will hope to speak with Kevin about her own.
It turns out Esme will want Kevin’s assistance getting into a prestigious psychology program – one that would tie in with a case study on Ryan.
Of course, Kevin may once again warn Esme that his brother is dangerous and not someone to be underestimated.
Esme always manages to stir up suspicions in her conversations with Kevin, so this time should be no different.
Once Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) gives Mac Scorpio (John J. York) updates on how she confronted Ryan, that’ll set off some alarm bells.
Mac won’t like the fact that Felicia confronted Ryan on her own, but she may point out that Ryan’s latest obsession was there, too.
Felicia tried to convince Esme that Ryan would discard her once she’d served her purpose.
In fact, Felicia insisted Ryan would probably kill Esme, so she may voice her fears to Mac about Esme letting her guard down.
Other GH spoilers say Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will hope Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) is willing to help him.
After Spencer hints at having good reasons to keep Esme nearby, he may let Victor in on his secret plan to expose her.
Spencer believes Esme’s past is the key to her takedown, so he might recruit Victor to help him track down Maggie Fitzgerald, the nanny Esme has exchanged letters with.
When Laura meets up with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight), they’ll reflect on when they were targeted while in protective custody.
Since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) wasn’t to blame, Laura will settle on another top suspect.
It’ll be interesting to see if Laura points the finger at Victor or gets the wrong idea.
Either way, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is about to deliver some disturbing news regarding another threat – one that’s politically motivated.
Things are going to take a disastrous turn by morning, so that could involve a story that’s about to go public.
Perhaps someone leaked info to Alexis and vowed to publish it elsewhere if she didn’t do it at The Invader first.
Alexis will make a phone call to Laura and offer a warning about the catastrophe that’s looming. Will this tie in with that time Spencer rigged the election in Laura’s favor?
Whatever the case, Laura will find her votes and her role as mayor under attack, so this will lead up to the 15,000th episode that’s set to air soon.
