General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, June 27, tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) will face a health crisis while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) warns Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Dex (Evan Hofer). Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will also blast Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), so here’s what GH fans can expect.
For starters, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will promise to do whatever it takes to get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) out of the mess he’s in.
Chase will give Brook Lynn updates on how his meeting with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) went and voice his concerns.
It doesn’t look like Chase is officially fired yet, but Linc Brown’s (Dan Buran) complaint is still going to the civilian review board – and the result could be Chase’s dismissal.
Although Brook Lynn tried to cut a deal with Linc to save Chase, that plan didn’t work out.
Now it’s time for Brook Lynn to come up with a new one, but Chase may worry it’s a lost cause.
At the Metro Court, Olivia will lash out at Nina and wonder why she’s choosing to stay where she isn’t wanted.
Nina will feel like she has just as much right to enjoy the pool as anyone, so she’ll clash with Olivia before Sasha gets involved.
It seems Sasha will rush to Nina’s defense and get tangled up in the showdown, which will take a startling turn soon enough.
In the meantime, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) will do some gloating as the ELQ shareholders’ meeting winds down.
Now that Valentin’s CEO position is secure, he’s called off the merger and will definitely enjoy rubbing in his victory.
Valentin will push Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) buttons and get a warning, but it’s safe to say that Valentin won’t be scared of Drew at all.
Next, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will celebrate prematurely with Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Since Carly won’t know how the ELQ vote went yet, she’ll gush over their family’s future and how it’s brighter than ever.
It won’t be long until Carly gets the failed merger news and realizes she won’t have the funds to buy back her half of the Metro Court.
GH spoilers say Carly will deal with this tough setback and worry about her next move.
Back with Olivia, Nina and Sasha, their showdown will still be in full swing when Willow shows up.
It sounds like Nina will mention Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and really set Willow off.
Willow already seems exhausted and had to sit down on the steps since she apparently felt faint.
Monday’s preview video shows Willow still looking pretty rough as she shouts to leave Wiley out of it.
There’s a good chance Willow will collapse after her outburst since we know she’ll take a trip to the hospital soon.
Willow is clearly dealing with a mysterious medical crisis, but what’s really going on here?
We can’t forget about those summer sweeps spoilers that promised incredible news for Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) to share with the world.
Nothing amazing has happened to this couple yet, especially since the merger just crashed and burned!
A pregnancy would qualify as incredible news, but Willow’s health issues seem to run a bit deeper and have been going on for quite a while.
Willow might have a condition she doesn’t know about – and in that case, a surprise pregnancy might be complicating things even further.
Regardless, Michael will support Willow through this crisis and any difficulties to come.
It seems likely that this medical situation will play a role in how Nina and Willow’s bio link is revealed down the road.
As for Brando and Dex, they’ll face some tension that threatens to explode.
Sonny will warn both Dex and Brando that they need to get along, but Brando will convey some lingering fears about this wildcard hire.
Although Sonny will think Dex is going to stay in line now, Brando will wonder if he’s sure that Dex got the message.
Sonny may feel confident that Dex won’t be a problem from now on, but he’s actually going to be a huge one since he’s plotting to take Sonny down for Michael!
