General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, March 21, reveals that Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) revealed Harmony Miller (temporarily played by Priscilla Garita) and Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) NYC connection. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) also slammed Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) at the PCPD, so here’s how all Monday’s GH drama went down.
After Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) disconnected from Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) silent phone call, she got another call from Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) informing her of Michael’s arrest.
Diane then told Michael he’d probably be spending the night in jail before Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) appeared.
Michael demanded to know what Jordan was doing to “catch the bastard” who ruined his sister’s life, but Jordan said she’d let Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) know when they had something concrete.
Once Carly arrived and heard the details, she worried Michael was going to make things worse with that reporter.
Carly decided that since Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was overseeing the stories at The Invader now, maybe she could shut this down.
In Alexis’ office, she listened to Smoltz’ (Paul Lautman) pitch about the video scandal involving Josslyn and highlighted her connection to Sonny Corinthos.
Carly came in right as Smoltz was telling Alexis that the Corinthos name sells, so she threatened to sue over the story.
After Carly privately pushed Alexis not to publish, Alexis felt that would be a mistake.
Alexis pointed out that someone was going to run the story anyway and thought The Invader could do a more tasteful version – perhaps one that allowed Joss and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) to speak out as victims.
Carly agreed to talk to Josslyn about it, but Alexis warned they didn’t have much time.
Meanwhile, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) found Willow unconscious at the hospital and rushed to help her.
Willow regained consciousness and seemed OK, but TJ admitted her anyway and agreed to call her mom for her.
At the Metro Court, Sonny caught up with Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) briefly before leaving him to enjoy his dinner with TJ and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos).
Jordan also joined in that dinner and urged Shawn to hurry home from his upcoming trip to San Francisco.
At Charlie’s Pub, Nina wondered how Phyllis and Lorraine aka Harmony knew each other.
Phyllis explained that Harmony cared for another patient in the same building where she once cared for comatose Nina in New York City.
Phyllis marveled over it being a small world since Harmony was also Willow’s mother and Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Viron Weaver) grandmother.
After Harmony got a call summoning her to the hospital following Willow’s fainting spell, she dashed off in a hurry.
Next, Nina opened up to Phyllis about her desire to get Harmony on her side.
Nina wanted Phyllis to put in a good word for her, but Phyllis decided she’d just tell Harmony about the Nina she knew and loved.
That way, Harmony could decide for herself.
Nina expressed her gratitude before she stepped outside to gaze at some Wiley pics on her phone.
In an exam room, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) asked if Willow had eaten today.
Epiphany pointed out that stress and bad nutrition were a bad combo, so Willow was embarrassed.
Epiphany assured Willow that they’d all been there and told an embarrassing story of her own.
Willow wondered if Epiphany had always wanted to be a nurse, so Epiphany confessed that she didn’t – though she was quick to add that she loved caring for patients.
After Harmony showed up practically demanding that Willow be moved up on the treatment list, Epiphany decided to give the IV of saline and electrolytes herself.
The doctor on Willow’s case found out and scolded Epiphany for it, which frustrated her since she’d been around far longer than a lot of doctors on staff.
Epiphany wanted to make more active decisions in her patients’ care, so Willow suggested maybe she was ready for a change.
Afterward, Epiphany researched MCAT dates on the computer at the nurses’ desk.
At the PCPD again, Sonny showed up and offered his help to Michael, who didn’t want it or need it.
Michael said he punched a reporter for getting in his face over Josslyn, but he refused to share the details and insisted that Joss wasn’t Sonny’s family anymore.
Sonny disagreed with Michael on that, but Michael kept acting like Nina always came first for his father.
They got into a huge fight since Sonny refused to let Michael use Nina against him anymore.
Sonny asked if Michael wanted him to attack Nina, but Michael fired back about how Nina does horrible, hateful things – then claims she doesn’t mean them.
Michael suggested that sounded a lot like Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) and once again refused Sonny’s help.
As Sonny walked out of the police station, he paused looking frustrated and distraught over the situation.
At the Metro Court, Jordan told Shawn that maybe she’d try a domestic partnership next time since Molly and TJ seemed so happy.
The four of them eventually shared a celebratory toast at the table.
At the hospital, Harmony admitted she was worried she’d lose Willow after finding their way back.
Willow assured Harmony that she wouldn’t lose her – and later, they shared a tender moment once Harmony brought back the sandwich Willow asked for.
General Hospital spoilers say Harmony’s secret is a ticking time bomb when it comes to her relationship with Willow, so stay tuned to see when it’s going to blow!
