General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, March 28, reveals that Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) worst nightmare became a reality as she was arrested over the planted phone. Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) also found a surprising new home thanks to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), so here’s how Monday’s GH episode went down.
At home, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) admitted to TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) that Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) was coming to stay with her.
That left Molly and TJ unsettled due to Shawn Butler’s (Sean Blakemore) concerns about Harmony’s secretive behavior.
Meanwhile, Harmony showed up at Charlie’s Pub after Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy) summoned her.
That led to Phyllis recalling how close Harmony used to be with Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) mother, Madeline Reeves (Donna Miller).
Harmony downplayed Madeline as an acquaintance and seemed on edge.
Harmony eventually assumed Nina put Phyllis up to this, so she said to tell Nina that her point was taken and that it was under consideration.
After Harmony bid Phyllis good day and left in a huff, she headed to Alexis’ place and let herself in with her new key.
There was tension since Molly and TJ were still around, but Alexis insisted on Harmony sticking around.
Later, Harmony ran to get some cleaning supplies after a drink was spilled.
It surprised Alexis when Harmony knew the carpet cleaner was in the basement, but Harmony acted like she’d been a caregiver long enough to guess that sort of thing.
At the Metro Court, Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) pestered Nina about dragging her feet on taking legal action.
Scott warned that Nina couldn’t have both Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so she needed to choose the kid or the gangster!
Scott insisted he could help Nina fight for her rights to see Wiley, but she was on her own if she chose Sonny.
Afterward, Phyllis spoke with Nina over the phone about her chat with Harmony, which didn’t go as well as she’d hoped.
At the PCPD, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) wanted to wait for Trina to wrap up her interview with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) warned that Joss should probably go home since the interview might take longer than expected.
Josslyn felt that was the one the cops really needed to be looking into.
Trina also blamed Esme as Jordan asked questions in her office.
Trina mentioned the hot toddy that led to her blacking out and didn’t want to call legal representation or a parent since she had nothing to hide.
Trina flipped out when she learned someone called the tip line and claimed to have seen her with the video on her phone.
Trina voluntarily handed over her phone as evidence she didn’t have it and insisted that she only had one.
Unfortunately, Trina then found her real phone and realized she had no idea how the first one got in her bag.
Jordan gave that planted phone to Dante, who took it to forensics and got updates on the incriminating evidence.
At one point, Jordan called Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and presented a hypothetical situation to tip him off to Trina’s legal woes.
Curtis made sure Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was notified, so she came barging in along with Marcus Taggert (Real Andrews).
Taggert was furious over Jordan treating Trina this way, especially since they used to be partners.
Taggert gently scolded Trina about talking to the cops and offering up so much info, but he knew she was just trying to help the investigation.
Josslyn eventually realized Trina was being blamed, so she once again accused Esme of orchestrating everything.
Trina blamed Esme as well, but she eventually had to settle down and accept what was happening for now.
Portia hugged Trina and offered reassurance before Dante read Trina her rights. As Dante led her away to booking, Trina looked distraught and terrified.
Curtis also showed up and comforted Portia over her daughter’s legal nightmare, so it was a tough situation all around.
Next, Esme managed to manipulate Nikolas into giving her a place to stay – though he insisted on the room above Kelly’s instead of a room at Wyndemere.
To thank Nikolas, Esme excitedly pulled him into a warm embrace.
Back with Phyllis, she spoke to Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) and tried to convince him that Sonny was a good friend along with Nina.
Marshall still seemed skeptical of Sonny, but Phyllis praised him for setting her up with a new job and helping her after Lenny Caulfield (Rif Hutton) died.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will protect himself from any threats that come his way, so stay tuned!
