General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, May 9 – Esme’s Creepy Vow – Carly Pumps Valentin for Info – Spencer's Losing Trina to Rory

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, May 9, tease that Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will make a creepy vow while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) pumps Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) for info. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will also fear losing Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) to Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse), so let’s talk about what’s in store.

At GH, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will blast Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) for driving Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) out of town.

Now that Curtis has blown the one chance he had to reconnect with his father, TJ will wonder if it was really worth it to expose Marshall’s past.

Meanwhile, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will pester Spencer and hope to get some progress updates.

Cam is putting a lot on the line by keeping secrets from Trina and especially Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).

“I need to know that the hell that I’ve been catching is worth it,” Cameron insists in Monday’s GH preview video.

Since Spencer hasn’t accomplished much of anything in his plan to bring Esme down, Cameron may warn him to move things along.

Spencer will soon have motivation to speed things up as well since Trina and Rory will do some more flirting.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will spot the flying sparks, but it looks like Spencer and Cameron may see them as well.

Spencer wants to be the hero who clears Trina’s name and hopefully gets the girl in the end.

If Trina falls in love with Rory in the meantime, that’s going to make an even bigger mess.

As for Esme, she’ll make an eerie promise to herself. Esme will intend to be happy and will do whatever it takes to pull it off.

Unfortunately, Esme’s happiness often means misery for everyone around her!

Over with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) and Chet Driscoll (Chris Van Etten), they’ll have an amazing date until Terry finds out who Chet’s sister is.

Chet will reveal his family connection to Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken), so that’ll certainly catch Terry off guard.

At Charlie’s Pub, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will discuss the upcoming visitation hearing with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).

After Nina talks about doing things on her orders, Ava may be glad to see she’s taking a stand.

At the same time, Ava will worry about how this fight for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) rights might affect Nina’s romantic chances with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Nina plans to have her cake and eat it too, so she may feel confident she can get everything she wants.

As Valentin continues his conversation with Carly, he’ll wonder if she can really tell him that no part of her feels for Nina.

Carly may argue that she did feel for Nina once upon a time, but she obviously doesn’t feel much other than disdain in the present.

It won’t be long until Carly shifts gears and goes on a fishing expedition, so she may ask questions about Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) and what happened when Nina was separated from her daughter.

Carly obviously won’t mention the fact that there were two daughters instead of one!

Valentin will assume Carly is talking about Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier), but she’ll actually be hoping to learn more about Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) kidnapping.

Valentin apparently wasn’t aware of the second baby or else he would’ve tried to reunite Nina with her already.

Will Carly say anything to make Valentin suspicious and perhaps lead him down a path of new discovery?

General Hospital spoilers say Carly will dig for answers, but she could also make waves if she isn’t careful.
