General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, May 9, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will get fierce while Chet Driscoll’s (Chris Van Etten) confession stuns Terry Randolph (Cassandra James). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will also spot a new romance – or at least the potential for one!
At Charlie’s Pub, Nina will express confidence as she prepares for the looming court battle.
It’s clear that Nina is ready to take charge of the situation and do things on her terms.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) may think Nina needs to be careful since pushing Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katlyn MacMullen) too hard could mean losing her chance with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).
However, Nina intends to keep her romantic hopes alive and still have Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) in her life.
From where Nina’s standing, she sees no reason why she can’t have it all.
Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) will also put her own happiness first in Monday’s GH episode.
Things are falling into place as far as Esme’s concerned, so she’ll make an almost robotic promise to herself about how she intends to be happy.
Over with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), he’ll try to stir up some sympathy for Nina during a conversation with Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright).
Of course, Carly won’t see Nina as a victim and will struggle to feel sorry for her at all.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly will do a little investigating, but it looks like she may do it on the sly.
This conversation seems like a good opportunity to quiz Valentin about Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) and gather intel.
Valentin seemingly has no idea that Nelle Benson (Chloe Lanier) was a twin, so Carly needs to stay on guard when it comes to what she asks and how she asks it.
While Carly tries to learn more the facts surrounding Willow’s birth, Josslyn will make a surprising discovery.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) and Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will have a definite vibe going on, so Josslyn may love seeing their spark.
At this point, Joss is more than ready to watch Trina leave Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) in the rearview mirror. It’s what Spencer deserves in Josslyn’s opinion.
Josslyn doesn’t know the whole story, but Cameron Webber (William Lipton) does – and that’s putting him in a risky position.
Cam doesn’t like lying to Trina and Josslyn, particularly since he’s dating Joss and trying to build a relationship with trust.
Spencer has sworn Cameron to secrecy, but their alliance will be put to the test.
Cam won’t feel like Spencer’s plan is working fast enough, so he’ll need some reassurance that nightmare is going to be worth it soon.
It turns out Josslyn won’t be the only Port Charles resident who sees Trina and Rory’s attraction to each other.
Cameron and Spencer might catch on as well, so let’s hope that’ll light a fire under Spencer.
If Spencer doesn’t get his act together and take down Esme ASAP, he’s going to miss his chance to sweep Trina off her feet.
Speaking of sweeping someone off their feet, Chet will turn on the charm with Terry and dazzle her on their date.
Terry will already be falling hard – that is until Chet reveals his family connection to Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken).
Perhaps Terry will complain about her problematic employee and let Amy’s name slip at one point.
Whatever the case, Chet will admit Amy is his sister, so that’ll bring a little hurdle for Chet and Terry to get past.
Meanwhile, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will lash out over Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) driving Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) out of Port Charles.
Curtis had an opportunity to connect with his father again after all these years, so TJ will wonder if seeking answers was worth losing that chance.
Although Curtis may not think there’s anything he can do about it now, TJ will disagree.
