General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, October 10, reveals that a Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) hook victim link was discovered while Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) burglary went wrong. Here’s how all the GH drama went down.

At Dex Heller’s (Evan Hofer) place, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) showed up and insisted he should be at the hospital after what he’d been through. Dex was visibly banged up and couldn’t button his shirt since his wrists were injured, so Joss did it for him.

Josslyn couldn’t understand why Dex was protecting Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and felt someone had to take Sonny down. After Dex said Josslyn sounded like Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell), she questioned how he knew what her brother sounded like.

Dex acted like it was based on run-ins with Michael and refused to go to the cops. However, Josslyn was worried that Sonny would betray Dex in the end and urged him to wise up before it was too late.

On the pier, Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) was zipped up in a body bag before being taken to the morgue as a John Doe. Once the coast was clear, Esme sauntered over and suggested that what was bad for Oz was good for her.

After Esme opened up her bag, she pulled out a wallet with some cash in it and decided it’d get her through the day. Esme then made her way to Wyndemere, where she was undeterred by the changed locks.

Meanwhile, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) wondered what other dirt Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) had on Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), but Nikolas acted like this was about true love and didn’t think Victor could understand.

At GH, Ava was eager to leave following her exam, but Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) expressed her gratitude over everything she’d done for Trina. Although Portia knew Ava loved her husband, she hoped she wouldn’t go back to Nikolas.

Soon after, Amy Driscoll (Risa Dorken) spread the news about Oz being a hook victim, so Ava hurried to close the elevator door and wound up back at Wyndemere. Ava delivered updates on Oz before Victor offered to escort her out – giving Esme the chance to slip in the door as they walked away.

Esme made her way to the safe and remembered the combination was Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) birthday. While Esme was trying to steal the contents of that safe, Nikolas approached her hooded figure from behind and demanded to know who she was.

In Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) office, she gave Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) a new set of divorce papers along with the reassurance that there was a receipt. Jordan acted weird about Portia again, so Curtis wondered why she thought they wouldn’t be happy together.

After Jordan got a call about Oz, Portia showed up and pointed out that Trina was a link between three of the victims: Ava, Diane and Oz. That got the wheels turning for Jordan as she considered the possibility that Josslyn was the intended target, not Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor).

Following Brando’s funeral, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) held a reception at the Metro Court Gardens. Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) warned Michael to back off Sonny for Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) sake, but Michael definitely struggled.

Once Sonny made a toast to Brando, he learned Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) was thinking of leaving town. Sonny pushed Gladys to stay and be there for Sasha before talk turned to all the Michael conflict.

Since Sonny couldn’t take anything for granted, Gladys pushed for reconciliation and still thought there was hope for his relationship with Michael.

After Willow told TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) about Nina’s affair suspicions, TJ approached Nina to ask why she was butting in and implying something was going on. Nina just wanted to warn TJ that he didn’t want Michael as an enemy.

Back with Michael, he pushed Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) to go after Sonny for his harsh treatment of Dex during the time he went missing. Dante wound up on Dex’s doorstep later with questions about what happened with Sonny.

Sonny also found Michael and pushed his son to hear him out. Although Sonny was willing to do whatever it took to make things right, Michael didn’t look very receptive to the idea.

General Hospital spoilers say Sonny will try his best to make amends, so stay tuned to see how that plan works out for him! CDL’s the place to be for fantastic General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in soon.
