General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, October 10, teases that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will get a funeral farewell while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) learns a painful lesson. Esme Prince’s (Avery Pohl) homecoming will also set the stage for drama, so there’ll be some big things happening in Port Charles.
After Brando’s friends and family gather for a service to remember him, Sonny will lead a toast and reflect on this difficult loss.
Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will somehow remind Sonny of what’s really important, so that could be through a goodbye speech for Brando.
Sonny may realize he’s learned a painful lesson about how quickly someone you care about can be taken.
Of course, that’s a lesson Sonny has learned before with Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig), but this funeral will still serve as a reminder.
It looks like Sonny will resolve to approach Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and fight desperately for peace.
Sonny may argue that they can’t lose any more time with this estrangement and push Michael to meet him halfway.
Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will think it’s unfair that a hook attack resulted in Brando’s untimely death, so he’ll confide in Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
This funeral farewell will add fuel to Dante’s desire to lock up the person responsible.
As for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), he’ll accidentally tip Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) off to something she wasn’t supposed to know.
Dex will hint about Joss sounding like Michael, but that won’t make sense to her since she assumes they don’t really know each other.
Once the wheels start turning, Josslyn will realize something strange is going on here.
We’ll see Josslyn put Dex through an interrogation, so he’ll have a hard time tackling her questions.
Next, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will apparently realize Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) thinks he’s cheating along with Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
After TJ sets Nina straight, he may push her to stop poking her nose where it doesn’t belong.
At GH, Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) will finish an exam and make sure she’s OK following her stabbing injuries.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will want to talk to Ava afterward, so it’ll leave Ava wondering if something else is wrong with her.
Thankfully, Ava seems to be on the road to a full recovery.
Portia may just want to offer gratitude since Ava went along with Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) plan to keep Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) safe.
Although Trina objected to Curtis going behind her back, his heart was in the right place – and so was Ava’s.
Portia might thank Ava for taking Trina under her wing and becoming such a good friend to her daughter.
In Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) office, she’ll call Curtis’ attention to an envelope with something surprising inside.
Since Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) issued a challenge to “The Hook” and is waiting to hear back at The Invader, the criminal might send a copy of their response to the PCPD, too.
Whatever the case, Jordan will let Curtis check out something shocking.
There’ll also be a bombshell for the cops to find down on the pier now that Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) has been hooked.
Oz’s attack will make the police investigation even more complicated, but let’s shift gears and talk about some mayhem at Wyndemere.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will sense that Nikolas knows more than he’s letting on and will fear Ava’s got lingering leverage.
Ava indeed has some dirt since Nikolas confessed to Esme’s murder and was filmed using Ava’s phone.
It seems likely Esme will acquire that video if she hasn’t found some sneaky way to do it already!
In the meantime, Esme will sneak back in Wyndemere and overhear Nikolas clashing with Victor.
Soon after, Esme will try to break in Nikolas’ safe and get some cash or valuables she can sell.
Nikolas will be the one to catch Esme, so he’ll be floored to find her alive and will ultimately threaten to call the cops.
However, Esme will have a plan to stop Nikolas from turning her in, so don’t miss the shocker she uses to her advantage.
