General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, September 5, tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will likely get fired from her current position while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) makes a risky offer. Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will also reject Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez), so here’s what GH fans can look forward to.
First, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will admit to someone that Sasha is in trouble. It might be Sonny or even Michael Corinthos (temporarily played by Robert Adamson) who Brando turns to for guidance, especially now that Sasha has had a negative reaction to the conservatorship idea.
Unfortunately, Sasha’s problems are going to get worse before they get better. It turns out Sasha will sit down for a meeting with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), who knows it’d be better for the brand if Sasha was no longer the Face of Deception.
After Lucy drops some hints, Sasha will angrily ask what the bottom line is. This could lead to Sasha getting fired from her current role – at least for now.
Of course, Lucy might leave the door open for Sasha to reclaim her position later and will no doubt promise that Sasha can still be part of the team.
However, Sasha will feel like she’s being tossed aside and placated. This could lead to Sasha rejecting whatever role behind the scenes that Lucy has in mind and blowing up at her.
At Trina’s party, she’ll share a sweet moment with Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) and suggest she’s ready to take the leap if he is. Rory and Trina recently tossed around the notion of being boyfriend and girlfriend, so this may be when they make their couple status official.
There’ll be some tension when Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) crosses paths with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) at the bash, so Jordan will wonder if her presence is going to be an issue. Portia may insist it’s all good, but the paternity secret she’s keeping will continue to haunt her.
Jordan will chat with TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) at some point and get a clue, so that could involve something that further cements the bio dad bomb. There may be another connected dot that leaves Jordan even more convinced Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is Trina’s true father.
As for Cameron Webber (William Lipton), he’ll be relieved to learn Spencer intends to give Trina an honest letter. Cam will think it’s the first non-stupid idea that Spencer’s had all year and will push him to make his move.
Sadly, things won’t go well for Spencer once he approaches Trina. GH spoilers say Trina will reject Spencer and suggest she doesn’t even want to be friends.
As Spencer tries to sneak off in despair, the letter will fall to the floor. That’ll lead to Trina’s discovery and set the stage for her to learn the whole truth.
Next, Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will dumpster-dive with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and once again prove they make a great team. Joss and Dex will search for Avery Corinthos’ (Ava and Grace Scarola) charm bracelet together, but they’ll also grow closer in more ways than one.
Dex will open up to Josslyn about his past and family background, so she’ll appreciate how vulnerable he’s being. Joss and Dex will also get close physically since they’ll be in such a small space.
That’ll lead to some steamy chemistry, but Josslyn will be in denial about the heat she’s feeling and will bend the truth about all this to Cameron later.
Finally, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will make a bold move that goes too far – at least in Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) opinion. After Brook Lynn crosses the line, Chase will flip out and scold her for doing something he feels is going overboard.
That may involve getting a favor from Sonny to put Chase in front of a crowd, but this pop star in training won’t be happy about Brook Lynn’s methods. We’ll fill you in as other news and updates become available.
