General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 1 to August 12, tease that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will make an unexpected arrest while Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) deals with jury deliberations. Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) will also return while Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) tries to score a new hire.
During the week of August 1-5, Trina will take the stand in her own defense while Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) threatens Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) life.
Nikolas Spencer (Marcus Coloma) will get a call about the disturbance at Wyndemere and realize he’d better get back home before things get out of hand.
Unfortunately, Nikolas will still return too late to do anything about the out-of-control hostility.
It looks like Ava may hurl Esme off the parapet to her presumed death by the end of all this.
At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) first day back at work will bring a weird memory.
Liz will apparently have a memory flash thanks to something Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) says, so fans may learn more about the trauma she’s blocked out.
After Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) test results show she might have leukemia, she’ll meet with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) to discuss the road ahead.
What Willow will need to do first is a bone marrow biopsy.
That’ll determine if Willow really needs to worry about this potential diagnosis, but she won’t want to tell Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) until she knows for sure.
Meanwhile, Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will question someone in police custody.
Since we know Jordan and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will hold out hope that Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) can be helpful, maybe he’ll wake up and get grilled about Esme’s guilt.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will seem on edge when she crosses paths with Nina – no doubt after doing drugs again.
There’ll also be a police altercation at the hotel later, so we’ll see if that involves Sasha or another crisis.
It’s worth mentioning that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms), Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will all have some big news to talk about later.
As for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), he’ll get a new assignment. Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will put Dex to the test, so Dex should vow not to let him down.
Although Dex will keep secretly working for Michael, we’ll slowly see Dex bond with Sonny and see that maybe he doesn’t really want to betray him.
During the week of August 8-12, Kristina will return for some new scenes with Sonny.
At Charlie’s, Sonny will be proud of Kristina’s latest accomplishment and congratulate her.
Next, Nina will try to convince a celebrity chef to join the Metro Court staff. Jamika Pessoa will play herself as Nina turns on the charm and hopes to lock in a new hire.
Over with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson), he’ll discourage Britt from going on another date with Cody Bell (Josh Kelly).
Spinelli knows Cody isn’t really a good match – at least based on his algorithms – so he’ll push Britt to just move on.
During the week of August 8-12, Cody will bump into a familiar face and have a stunned reaction.
It sounds like Cody has a connection to someone else on canvas that’ll soon be revealed.
As for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), she’ll remain determined to figure out Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) secrets.
Anna will vow to uncover the truth during a conversation with a worried Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) – and later, Anna will push Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) for help.
Since Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) freedom could be in jeopardy, Nikolas and Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will seek assistance from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Alexis might be able to publish Spencer’s side of the story or something else that makes him look sympathetic.
After the jury begins deliberations, Trina will obviously be a nervous wreck.
Although Trina will try to relax by the pool with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), it’ll be futile due to the anxiety they’ll both feel.
Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) will also receive a difficult assignment, so that could mean he’ll be tasked with putting the handcuffs on Trina in court – at least if the verdict is guilty.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will make a choice that could prove helpful to Trina, but they’ll have to work fast!
Time will be running out as the jury prepares to deliver the verdict in Trina’s case.
Dante will also make an unexpected arrest, but it doesn’t look like it’ll be related to anything Jordan’s up to.
Instead, it could involve Dex if he botches the next job Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) gives him.
Regardless, someone surprising in Port Charles will indeed get arrested soon enough.
