General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, Monday, January 2 through Friday, January 13, tease some exciting drama and developments for viewers. The Hook takes another victim and tragic death news spreads, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) asks Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) help, and Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) family rallies round him.
First thing to know is that Monday’s GH episode, January, 2, will be pre-empted by college football. The Citrus Bowl with LSU versus Purdue will air in General Hospital’s timeslot, preceded by the Rose Parade. The action picks up on Tuesday, January 3 at GH’s normal time so check your local listings.
On Tuesday, January 3 the Hook attacks again, with the Friday cliffhanger showing Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) cowering in fear on the pier.
At Wyndemere, a frantic Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) confides in Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) that Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) escaped via a swan dive off the parapet!
Spencer Cassadine, (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will be stunned, still on the Haunted Star with Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) At Kelly’s, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) opens up to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
Out of town and oblivious to the danger her daughter is facing, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) celebrates with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Wednesday, January 4, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) catches up with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) while Laura Collins (Genie Francis) checks in on Ava Cassadine (Maura West).
Still with Spencer, Trina expresses her doubts, while Dante interrogates a patient at GH, likely related to the Hook attack. As for Nik and Liz, they’ll put their heads together to come up with a plan concerning Esmé.
Thursday, January 5 finds Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) taking on a new client, while Heather Webber (Alley Mills) will defend her actions.
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) will make a suggestion to Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) which he may or may not take into consideration.
Liz will look to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) for assistance, possibly related to her emotions regarding Esmé and her unborn baby.
Meanwhile, tragic news will spread through Port Charles when the Hook’s latest victim doesn’t make it.
Ending the week of January 2, Friday, January 6th’s episode finds Sonny confronting Nikolas and blasting him, likely related to Spencer, who will get shocking news.
There’s a good chance that the fatality is Britt Westbourne, (Kelly Thiebaud) considering Spencer is very close to her and Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) takes matters into her own hands.
Carly will offer support, likely back in Port Charles with Drew by this time.
Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) receives an important call, and it could be related to finding a previously unknown relative or bone marrow donor match.
Monday, January 9 begins with Ava sharing some plans with close friend Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while Nikolas meets with Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Nikolas frequently seeks out his aunt Alexis in times of distress and this will prove to be a distressing time for both him and Elizabeth regarding Esmé’s fate.
Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will try to put his hurt aside over Elizabeth, while Victor comes to Sonny for help with a family member, probably Spencer.
It sounds like Willow’s call on Friday indeed has to do with finding a family member or a donor match, as she and Michael will meet with Terry Randolph (Cassandra James).
On Tuesday, January 10 Laura will be touched by Elizabeth’s loyalty, likely referring to her loyalty to long-time friend and lover Nikolas.
Meanwhile, Nikolas will be put on the spot by Victor, who will likely ask him some hard questions.
It looks like there may be some progress on the Hook investigation, as Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Dante conduct a search.
Back with Drew and Carly, he’ll find himself flabbergasted, as Carly gets some critical information.
Wednesday, January 11 Carly will defend her actions, or her lies, as the case may be, and that may be because Willow’s bone marrow search led back to Nina Reeves.
Carly would have to defend her keeping this secret from Drew, considering back when she found it out she lied to him about the DNA results when she promised she wouldn’t.
Back with Sonny, a gambling-addicted Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) will ask him for help, and Nina will place an important call.
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will go after something-or someone-she wants, and back with Cody, he’ll help someone out by creating a distraction.
Thursday, January 12, Cameron will open up to his mom Elizabeth, and it may be about a broken heart.
Cody will find some common ground with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and that might be having been wiped out by gambling losses, only Sasha won’t have created her own debt.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will get a bittersweet reminder, possibly remembering his relationship with Willow as Michael’s family rallies around him.
Meanwhile, Carly will steel herself-but will it be related to her lies to Drew, or Josslyn’s hook attack on the pier?
Friday, January 13 Nina finds herself in for a shock, and that might be related to finding out she’s got another daughter.
Sonny will voice his regret, and that could be related to not keeping a closer eye on Josslyn.
That may also relate to Trina’s news Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) is alarmed by.
Finally, Spencer shares some intel he’s found out with Alexis, while Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) works some magic at the PCPD.
