General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may sacrifice his freedom for Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West). Will Nikolas take the blame for Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) death and prove his loyalty?
Like Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) mentioned, it’s horrible that Ava even had to entertain the notion of Nikolas potentially trying to kill her.
Ava has faced serious concerns about whether Nikolas might’ve been behind her stabbing.
Naturally, Nikolas is looking a lot more innocent now that the hook villain has struck again.
Since Nikolas was with Ava at the time of Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) attack, that should work in his favor.
Even so, major damage has been done to Nikolas character at this point.
Nikolas needs a way to redeem himself a bit, especially if he expects to have any hope of salvaging his marriage to Ava.
On September 26, Nikolas will make a huge sacrifice. What can Nikolas really give up at this point that would matter to him? Could it be Nikolas’ own freedom?
If the Esme investigation suddenly brings clues that point in Ava’s direction, that could lead to trouble.
Nikolas might worry that the walls are closing in on Ava and decide to take the fall for her.
Ava has been punished enough with this whole stabbing ordeal, so Nikolas may be willing to lie to the cops for her sake.
That’s especially true since Ava needs to remain a free woman and continue to raise Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola).
Will Nikolas eventually deceive Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and claim his own struggle with Esme caused her fall over the parapet?
That might prove to Ava that Nikolas is still capable of love and loyalty. It could go a long way toward fixing what’s broken in Ava and Nikolas’ relationship.
It’d be interesting if Nikolas landed at Pentonville with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
Nikolas could end up behind bars pretty quickly if he enters a guilty plea.
Regardless, Nikolas will seek guidance from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) before making a bold move.
We’ll see Nikolas make a massive sacrifice, so he may be willing to take the blame for Esme’s grim fate.
Of course, everything will get turned upside down when Esme inevitably reveals she’s alive sooner or later! As other GH news becomes available, we’ll bring you updates.
