General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will buy the Metro Court half that’s up for grabs, but Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will reject this insulting peace offering. GH fans know Carly is incredibly stubborn, so Nina doesn’t stand a chance of winning her over!
Carly already rejected Olivia Quartermaine’s (Lisa LoCicero) help because it’d mean getting the money from Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), and she didn’t want that since Ned betrayed Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) as well as Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Of course, Carly didn’t want Drew’s help either. Most recently, Carly turned down Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) proposition too, so why on earth would Nina think Carly would accept this offer?
To make matters worse, Nina will act like it’s a peace offering over everything that happened with Sonny.
Half of the Metro Court won’t make up for Carly thinking her husband was dead for months – nor will it make up for what Carly witnessed when she walked in on Nina in bed with Sonny. Carly will no doubt act like Nina’s grand gesture is just for show.
Even if Carly could find it in her heart to believe that Nina genuinely wanted to help, she’s proven that she has no desire to accept help from anyone – especially Nina.
To be fair, it looks like Nina will truly think she can start to make things right somehow.
Nina’s motives will be pure, but that doesn’t mean this is a good idea!
Sonny definitely won’t approve when he gets updates in the aftermath, so it’ll lead to a major fight with Nina.
Since Nina will just make a bigger mess of the situation and infuriate Carly even further, Sonny won’t like how Nina handled all this.
Nevertheless, Nina will find herself owning half the Metro Court and should choose to hang onto it after Carly rejects the offer.
Since Carly is hiding the truth about Nina and Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mother-daughter connection, Nina will inevitably be glad the deal didn’t pan out down the road.
If Nina knew Carly’s secret, she certainly couldn’t lift a finger to help her – and it’d be hard to blame her for that!
