General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) may catch Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) forbidden passion and score power over her rival. Let’s look at Carly’s predicament as well as some November sweeps info to figure out where this story’s headed.
For starters, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) recently decided to lay down the law with Carly, so he insisted her boundaries weren’t working for him anymore.
Now that Sonny and Nina are officially a couple, Sonny expects Carly to be a little more understanding when it comes to Nina’s involvement in Donna Corinthos’ (Ava Rose) life.
Of course, Carly and Drew are also a couple, but they suddenly have good reasons to keep that under wraps. Thanks to Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) threat, Drew and Carly don’t want to risk going to prison for insider trading.
Being romantically involved isn’t a good idea right now, so Carly and Drew have to pretend they’re casual acquaintances in public. In private, it’s a different story – as evidenced by the stolen kiss Drew and Carly shared in the November 2 episode.
Carly and Drew don’t want to stay away from each other, so they’ll just have to be careful about where they let their passion erupt. Unfortunately, November sweeps preview info suggests Drew and Carly may slip up, which could leave them at Nina’s mercy.
It turns out Nina will spot Carly in a compromising situation, so it sounds like she’ll walk in on a steamy moment with Drew. Since Carly found Nina in bed with Sonny on The Haunted Star, maybe it’ll be Nina’s turn to catch Carly in bed with Drew.
Even if Nina just spies an intense make-out session, she’s going to have questions. Nina won’t get why Drew and Carly are working so hard to keep their obvious romance quiet.
GH spoilers say Nina’s involvement will force Carly to make a confession. Carly may spill the insider trading threat and hope Nina’s willing to hide her secret relationship with Drew – at least for now.
Naturally, this could give Nina some leverage if she wanted to use it that way. However, Nina may hope it’s a chance for mutual peace instead.
Perhaps Nina will vow to keep her mouth shut and ask Carly to be more accepting of her own relationship in return – especially when it comes to Donna like Sonny pushed for.
