General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) near-death experience could change everything. Will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) have to fight for love and revenge?
Nina could land in grave danger now that the show is putting Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) villainous side on full display.
GH writers are throwing Harmony’s redemption out the window – and that could mean deadly trouble for Nina.
There’s a good chance that Harmony played a big role in Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) death based on the hints so far.
Harmony also seemed rather threatening during that conversation with Phyllis Caulfield (Joyce Guy), which brought Harmony’s past friendship with Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) into the story.
Since Harmony believes Nina was trying to rattle her through Phyllis, she may decide the war is on.
Harmony is already resorting to shady behavior, so that behavior is probably going to escalate into more crimes as this storyline moves along.
Will it go as far as Harmony trying to kill Nina or at least hiring a hit?
If Harmony fears Nina knows too much or that she could close in on the truth, she might decide to take Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) bio mom out.
Harmony has made it clear that she can’t and won’t lose her illegally adopted daughter.
Harmony’s desperate to keep the truth about Willow’s parentage under wraps – and desperate people can do desperate things!
It’d be smart for the writers to put Nina in a potentially fatal situation and play the drama of that.
Nina might have a near-death experience that brings her much closer to Sonny.
There could even be questions about who went after Nina initially.
Willow might suspect Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) had something to do with Nina’s ordeal, which could certainly lead to problems in their relationship.
If Willow finds out Nina is her bio mom while she’s back in a coma, that would certainly be a soapy twist.
It’s easy to imagine Willow making a tearful speech or two by Nina’s bedside.
Sonny might do the same and be prepared to move forward with Nina if she’ll just come back to him.
This would be a great way to finally jump-start a real romance for Sonny and Nina.
Plus, it’d give Sonny a chance to get revenge on Harmony if she’s indeed responsible.
Harmony will get what she’s got coming to her down the road, so stay tuned!
