General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may demand a new baby right away and pressure Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) back to the bedroom. GH fans know Maxie had to convince Peter they could be together again in order to save Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt) – and that meant saying plenty of things she didn’t mean.
Maxie obviously knows Peter is a deadly menace who has no business raising children, but she sold Peter on the idea of protecting Louise by leaving her behind and starting fresh.
Peter was reluctant at first, but he ultimately caved in – especially since Maxie brought up the idea of having a new baby someday.
However, someday may not be good enough for Peter.
Once Peter settles in with Maxie at their new hideout, he may push her to keep all her promises.
Peter might want to get started on their new family immediately since he’s fixated on being a father.
Of course, Maxie can remind Peter that she said it would take time to rebuild their relationship.
Maxie pretended there was a path forward with Peter, but she acknowledged that it wouldn’t happen overnight.
Maxie will no doubt stall Peter for as long as she can, but Peter is bound to grow impatient.
Peter might even threaten to murder Maxie if he catches onto the fact that she duped him.
Peter could vow to take Maxie out and go on the hunt for Louise again if she doesn’t keep her end of the bargain.
Perhaps Peter will grow increasingly obsessed with replacing Louise and insist they need to get started on making a baby as soon as possible.
Maxie suggested they could have another child that wouldn’t be taken from them, so that’s obviously going to be stuck in Peter’s mind.
That could leave Maxie struggling to delay this bedroom reunion Peter wants so desperately.
It’s doubtful GH writers will let Peter violate Maxie like this, but the threat of it happening could cause her or someone else to take action.
Maxie will need to do whatever it takes to protect herself – and that goes for the loved ones that are trying to protect Maxie, too.
Before Maxie can be forced back into bed with Peter, she might kill him first!
Then again, there are hints about Felicia Jones (Kristina Wagner) stepping up to help Maxie in her time of need, so we’ll see how far she goes to save her daughter.
