General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will be killed off as cabin chaos erupts. This villain’s “’til death do us part” vow is about to come true, so let’s talk about everything we know so far.
Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) sacrificed herself to save Louise August (London and Jett Prinzo-Berendt), so now she’s a hostage on the farm from Peter’s youth.
Fortunately, Maxie has proven rather resourceful and will continue to stay on guard.
Of course, Maxie also has a team of people backing her up.
It’s just taking some time to nail down all the clues and figure out Maxie’s exact location – at least for Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), however, knows the name of the village, which translates to Hidden Meadow.
It’s lucky that Felicia remembered that conversation with Peter since it perhaps puts her in the best position to get to Maxie quickly and save her daughter.
Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) also has a WSB agent operating under his orders, so there are plenty of key players involved here.
That has everyone wondering who’ll actually be the one to take Peter out.
Maxie will ultimately try to gain the upper hand on Peter – perhaps by making a move for his gun.
We know Maxie will face a risky reckoning, so Peter may realize Maxie has been playing him this whole time and fight to regain control of his weapon.
Meanwhile, Felicia should arrive on the scene and do some spying.
Felicia will want to figure out the best way to help Maxie without getting her killed – or herself killed for that matter!
There has to be a reason GH writers let Felicia go rogue and join the search for Maxie on her own.
They’re singling Felicia out and showing us she’ll be important to the conclusion of Peter’s story, so she may save Maxie at a critical moment.
Felicia would definitely be willing to kill Peter herself, though it’s also easy to imagine her distracting him long enough to create a struggle between Peter and Maxie.
Soaps love to do those situations where a gunshot rings out and then you see which person took the bullet after a dramatic pause.
Anna, Drew, Dante and Victor’s WSB agent will add to the cabin mayhem at some point, but Felicia or Maxie herself make the best killer contenders.
Then again, if the writers want to get really creative, maybe they could literally feed Peter to the wolves he mentioned outside!
Regardless, this is the end of the road for Peter according to GH insiders.
After so many false deaths and close calls, it’s understandable that so many fans would be skeptical.
However, it looks like Peter will be given a gruesome death that sticks this time around.
The story itself is coming full circle with the inclusion of P.K. Sinclair’s The Severed Branch.
They’re giving us a throwback to the beginning of Peter’s run so they can finally wrap it up – and it’s long overdue as far as many viewers are concerned.
Peter is a character who’s overstayed his welcome, so it’s time for him to go.
After Peter made that “’til death do us part” comment in the car, it became like a promise of impending doom.
Peter has sealed his own fate in more ways than one, so his death is indeed looming.
