General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) left a final message to Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud), so it looks like Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) will help solve the personal effects box mystery.
On the October 14 episode, Britt grumbled about Cody getting the long-lost relative jackpot since Mac Scorpio (John J. York) is a great guy as far as she can tell.
Meanwhile, Britt had to find out someone as demented as Peter was her half-brother.
That conversation between Britt and Maxie brought some surprising news.
Britt wanted to just dispose of Peter’s personal effects when she first received the box, but she decided to hang onto it in the end.
Now that Britt has admitted she still has that box, part of her remains curious about why Peter gave it to her.
There has to be a reason why Peter wanted Britt to be the executor of his estate and open this box herself.
Maxie is concerned about this stirring up more trouble since Peter never did anything good except give her Bailey Lou Jones.
Nevertheless, Britt has been hanging onto the box in hopes that she might be able to figure out what Peter was up to eventually.
Of course, eventually could come far sooner than Britt expects.
Ever since Cody found out Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was Britt’s father, he’s done his best to get close to her and gather information about Faison as well as Peter.
After Britt opens up to Cody about her history and perhaps mentions the personal effects box, Cody will offer his assistance.
Maybe Cody will think a set of fresh eyes will be helpful and suggest he could look through the box for clues.
Whatever the case, Cody and Britt will make a shocking discovery during the week of October 24-28.
That could mean Britt and Cody will look through the personal effects box together before finding a bombshell.
Will Cody help Britt decipher what Peter’s final message was? Will Britt become a pawn in Peter’s game – even now that he’s dead and gone?
