General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) may fume over Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) trap for Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl). Ryan might seek revenge on Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) husband after Nikolas carries out a sneaky plan, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Nikolas is allowing Esme to stay under his roof and letting her get closer to him as well.
However, Nikolas also hinted about trying to gain Esme’s trust and seems to understand that she’s working an angle.
This may be a “like father, like son” situation where Nikolas is trying to trap Esme into revealing her dirty deeds – just like Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).
GH spoilers say Nikolas will offer a grand gesture to Ava on April 28, but Esme will witness Nik tearing apart his romantic setup in a fit of rage.
It’ll seem like Nikolas and Ava’s marriage is truly crumbling.
Of course, we have to wonder if Nikolas will stage the whole thing.
In other words, Nikolas may put on a show for Esme’s benefit and make her think that her plan’s working.
That’d be the best way to convince Esme to drop her guard and catch her making a mistake.
Nikolas might even be able to stir up some genuine feelings in Esme to make her extra vulnerable.
The problem is Nikolas doesn’t realize who he’s dealing with. This is diabolical Ryan Chamberlain’s beloved daughter!
Although Ryan has a twisted relationship with Esme, he does seem to care for her in his own messed-up way.
Ryan won’t be pleased over Spencer’s trap, but it’s Nikolas who could really push him over the edge.
If Ryan finds out Nikolas has sabotaged his plot with Esme, he may decide he’s ready to unleash his deadly wrath.
Nikolas has had a target on his back ever since he married Ava, the object of obsessed Ryan’s deepest and most dangerous desires.
Ryan could gain another reason to want Nikolas dead if he dupes Esme and betrays her.
Regardless, Nikolas may outsmart Esme in the short-term, but Ryan could turn the tables with a good dose of vengeance down the road.
