General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) may plot a prison break to help Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), so Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) may face this serial killer’s wrath!
Nikolas doubted Esme’s bio dad claims, which is reasonable since even Esme admitted to bending the truth when it benefited her.
We can’t blame Nikolas for thinking this is just some story Esme’s cooked up, but he’ll eventually find out the shocking truth.
Esme really does have a powerful father who adores her – at least in his own way.
Ryan has a twisted kind of love for his daughter, but he’s certainly protective of Esme.
If Ryan knew Nikolas was holding Esme hostage, he’d be furious. That’s especially true since Ryan hates Nikolas anyway for ending up with Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
Esme warned Nikolas that he wouldn’t like how this story ended and added that his fate wouldn’t be pretty.
Considering Ryan’s deadly history on ABC’s GH, Esme’s prediction could easily come true.
Ryan was already planning on breaking out of Spring Ridge sooner or later, so he might speed up his timeline if he assumes Esme’s in trouble.
Even if Esme can wiggle out of this jam on her own, that doesn’t mean Ryan will forget about Nik holding his beloved daughter captive.
That’ll just be another reason to go after Nikolas when the time comes.
At some point, Ryan will inevitably escape Spring Ridge and kick off a new reign of terror. After all, Ryan has talked about all the enemies he wants to take down with Esme.
Although Ryan is letting Esme fly solo for now, there’ll come a day when Ryan wants to join her on the outside.
It could turn into a real bloodbath if the PCPD can’t stop Ryan fast enough.
If Ryan does make a quick getaway down the road, Nikolas could be at the top of his hit list.
Perhaps Nikolas will have to pay the price – both for his relationship with Ava and for everything that’s gone down with pregnant Esme.
Ryan might attempt Nikolas’ murder as punishment, so Nik may see that Esme was right to warn him about her dangerous and protective dad!
