General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) may plot revenge on Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez). A disturbing Spring Ridge encounter could follow Spencer’s Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) betrayal and lead to bigger problems.
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) made a call to limit who could access Ryan, but we highly doubt that’s managed to stand in Esme’s way.
It’s clear that Esme is creative and dangerous, so she’s the perfect ally for Ryan and will inevitably cause more mayhem.
Although Ryan was impressed with Spencer once upon a time and even wrote him a fan letter, it’s Esme who has captured Ryan’s attention now.
Esme is obviously helping Ryan and planning something major with him.
Ryan’s loyalty lies with Esme, so he won’t be happy if he learns Spencer is anything less than devoted to her.
Esme could easily blab to Ryan about Spencer and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) almost kissing in the February 3 episode.
Based on what happened in the gallery, Trina and Spencer probably would’ve locked lips if Esme hadn’t shown up to distract them.
Plus, Spencer didn’t support Esme enough for her liking at the cabin, so she may hold a grudge over that.
Esme has been manipulating Spencer and may not be capable of genuine love, but she’s still very possessive.
Ryan knows a thing or two about being territorial after the way he treated Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West).
Of course, Ryan may also like the idea of threatening Spencer due to who his father is.
Ava moved on with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), so that might be another reason Ryan takes great pleasure in rattling Spencer’s cage.
Ryan is acting like he’s locked in and unable to speak or really move, but GH has shown signs that he’s faking his condition.
When the time is right, Ryan may make an escape with Esme’s help.
For now, Ryan will remain at Spring Ridge, where Spencer is set to face some shockers. One of them could easily involve a creepy stare-down with Ryan.
Perhaps Spencer will cross paths with Ryan in his wheelchair and get a vengeful glare in the coming weeks.
That could unnerve Spencer and make him worry about what Ryan might have up his sleeve.
Esme’s true connection to Ryan hasn’t been revealed just yet, but we know she’s adopted.
That makes Ryan a prime candidate when it comes to being Esme’s biological father.
It could give Ryan even more of a reason to be a protective Daddy dearest to Esme and plot against Spencer.
Whatever the case, Spencer will be incarcerated at Spring Ridge for a month – and that’s where Ryan currently resides.
It’s reasonable to assume there’ll be an unsettling encounter between Spencer and Ryan at some point.
