General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) could face a romantic shakeup if a mystery man’s arrival brings a Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) love triangle. GH fans know Sam is happy with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) at the moment, but some problems are brewing.
Josh Kelly will debut as a yet-to-be-revealed character – one who’s going to be in plenty of scenes with Britt, Dante and Sam.
The latest buzz hints that Kelly will play a new love interest for Britt, but she might have some competition for his heart eventually.
Dante has a storyline coming up that involves his past and some startling revelations.
Sam’s going to learn some buried secrets regarding Dante and this mystery guy, so it’s easy to see how all of this could lead to trouble.
Plus, we can’t forget about the biggest looming threat to Sam and Dante’s relationship. The show put Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) in a coma for a reason.
If they didn’t intend to bring Lulu back, they would’ve killed her off and eliminated all hope for a “Lante” reunion.
Instead, they put Lulu on ice and made her a lingering question mark in Dante’s life.
There’ll always be part of Dante that hopes Lulu will awaken – and when that inevitably happens, it seems like Dante’s reunion with her will be inevitable, too.
That could open the door to other romantic paths for Sam, so we have to consider the possibility of a love triangle with Britt and this new hunk.
Josh Kelly’s character will apparently be a bit on the dangerous side – someone who takes risks and has a Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) vibe.
There’s the potential for Sam to be attracted to this guy, especially since she’ll be spending a lot of time with him through her storyline with Dante.
Maybe if Dante drifts back to Lulu once she’s awake, Sam and Britt will play some new love triangle mayhem with this mystery man.
Josh Kelly should make his debut during the week of May 30-June 3, so that’ll kick off some excitement and pave the way for some story twists.
