General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) millions may be gambled away. Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) poker game may seal Gladys Corbin’s (Bonnie Burroughs) disastrous move, so let’s talk about the trouble Gladys is letting herself get roped into.
Ms. Wu clearly saw an easy mark when it came to Gladys, who kept gloating about the court putting her in charge of Sasha’s finances.
Gladys seems poised to learn that with great power comes great responsibility!
Since Gladys has a “what’s hers is mine” mentality right now when it comes to Sasha’s fortune, that can’t be good.
Selina practically had dollar signs in her eyes as she invited Gladys to an upcoming poker game and mentioned how most people couldn’t afford the entry fee.
Gladys was careful to hide the card Selina gave her and obviously doesn’t want Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) or Sasha to know what she’s up to.
Although Gladys has made some progress on a personal level, there’ll always be part of that’s a greedy opportunist.
Sasha thinks she can trust Gladys to always have her best interests at heart, but it sounds like Gladys is going to prove her wrong.
Gladys may use her access to Sasha’s money and try to “borrow” enough to be a serious contender in this poker game.
Of course, Gladys may tell herself no one will even know after she wins big, but she’s probably going to lose big instead.
This could become a situation where Gladys blows millions, so that could leave her in a tight spot.
It’s easy to imagine Gladys just disappearing if that happens.
We wouldn’t be surprised if Gladys just bolted into the night and left Sasha to deal with the aftermath of her actions.
However, it’s also possible Gladys could make matters worse and perhaps sign away Sasha’s stake in Deception to Selina.
Gladys might make excuses for why this is the best option, but it could actually be her strategy to dig herself out of a major hole.
One way or another, Gladys seems poised to prove it was a mistake for her to be Sasha’s guardian.
Since Gladys’ selfish side will become a problem, some serious drama is brewing.
