General Hospital (GH) spoilers Selina Wu (Lydia Look) may gain a new partner in crime. It looks like a Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) alliance could bring Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) outrage, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Cody has finally made some progress with Britt, who admitted she likes him and was into the two kisses they shared.
Although Britt is scared of putting her heart out there again, she’s willing to take the risk and go on another date with Cody.
Of course, nothing is ever simple with these two!
There’s no way it’s going to be smooth sailing from here on out, so it’s time to think about the next obstacle in Cody and Britt’s path.
It seems that obstacle could come in the form of Selina Wu. During the week of September 5-9, GH spoilers say Cody will have a proposal for Selina to consider.
Selina wasn’t happy when Cody made a mess of things at her poker game and had him beaten to a pulp as a result.
It’s a gamble for Cody to make any kind of deal with Selina, but he’ll apparently have some proposition that he thinks will be mutually beneficial.
Cody may hope they can help each other make money since he’s always out to make a quick buck.
If Selina needs something illegal done, Cody could certainly take care of that, too.
Regardless, Britt is understandably wary of Selina.
Since Selina threatened Britt with knowledge of old crimes she committed with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), that could come back into play now.
Britt feels like Cody is fixated on her family, especially her connection to Faison.
This Selina partnership could give Britt another reason to be on edge and wonder if Cody can really be trusted.
Selina poses a risk to Britt, who’ll naturally grow concerned if Cody indeed joins forces with her.
If Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) gets caught in the crossfire in any way, that could make matters even worse.
Bottom line, partnering with Selina is about the worst thing Cody could do now that he’s moving in the right direction with Britt.
This could spark some outrage and lead to a romantic setback, so Cody may have to undo the damage.
