General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Selina Wu (Lydia Look) seems to be plotting a sneak attack and hoping for a Corinthos territory takeover. Will Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) find out about his aunt’s plan to wipe out Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and take his territory for the Wu organization?
During Selina’s latest visit to Sonny’s penthouse, she brought up how the five families had now become two.
Selina also wanted use of the Port Charles Harbor, so she negotiated a deal since it fell under Sonny’s territory.
Although Selina acted like she was willing to play by Sonny’s rules, she may be playing a different game entirely!
Selina has been presenting herself as a staunch ally, but she’s clearly a character who can’t be trusted.
There’s something dangerous about Selina, who has a sinister side and naturally puts her own family first.
Perhaps Selina sees no reason to settle for this two-family mob arrangement.
Why would Selina do that when she could take everything for herself – including Sonny’s territory?
The truth is Selina knows Sonny is vulnerable right now.
Sonny is going through a difficult divorce and is distracted by his romance with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Plus, Nina is bringing up all these Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) visitation issues for Sonny to worry about.
Selina was also quick to mention Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) arrest – and there’s this video scandal going on with Sonny’s soon-to-be former stepdaughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
On top of all that, Sonny lost his best friend and right-hand man not too long ago.
Sonny pointed out that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was tough to replace, and he’s obviously still grieving the loss in many ways.
In other words, Sonny’s life is a total trainwreck! We can’t even blame Selina for thinking this is an amazing opportunity to target Sonny.
Of course, it’s possible Sonny will wise up and realize what Selina’s up to.
We know Sonny will turn to Brick (Stephen A. Smith) for surveillance help during the week of March 28-April 1, so it’s possible that’ll tie in with the Selina drama.
Whatever the case, things could get ugly if Sonny doesn’t nip this threat in the bud before it’s too late.
Sonny has to open his eyes to Selina’s power play and fight back while he still can.
As for Brad, will he become privy to his aunt’s scheme? It’d be interesting to watch Brad panic over Selina starting an all-out war with Sonny.
Brad might even contemplate a betrayal since Sonny might kill both Selina and her nephew if this takeover attempt fails.
There could be a situation where Brad ultimately decides to save himself by ratting Selina out.
Regardless, the mob mayhem is about to heat up.
Selina may be working with the mysterious threat on the West Coast, which could make the stakes even higher for Sonny.
