General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will demand Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) time for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). Sonny’s about to go up against Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) in a heated confrontation, so let’s talk about the hostility that’s brewing.
When Sonny hears about Nina’s latest fight with Willow and how there’s not a path to her having Wiley visits right now, he’s certainly not going to approve.
Sonny knows Nina loves Wiley and even supported her on her grandson issues back when he was “Mike” in Nixon Falls.
Of course, Wiley also happens to be Sonny’s grandson, so that gives him even more of a reason to side with Nina on this.
Sonny can relate to loving Wiley and wanting to be in his life.
There’s no denying that Nina has made some monumental mistakes, but should Wiley be punished because Nina hooked up with Sonny on The Haunted Star?
Willow was upset over Nina hiding that since it contributed to this pattern of secrecy, but it’s not like Wiley is in danger here.
Nina would surely agree to be supervised during her time with Wiley anyway.
This is simply about making Nina suffer some consequences, which is understandable in some ways and infuriating in others.
Again, there’s no reason Wiley should be deprived of a grandmother who loves him.
That’s especially true when Michael and Willow are hypocrites in the cheating department.
Willow and Michael bailed on their own son’s birthday party to sleep together while Willow was married to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), who had had to relearn how to walk after nearly dying.
Although Michael and Willow can spin all that with any excuses they want, they have no right to judge Nina and Sonny when they spin things, too. Cheating is cheating!
Regardless, what happens in the bedroom among the adults shouldn’t affect Wiley’s bonding chances with Nina.
Sonny may remind Willow and Michael of that when he goes up against them to fight for Nina’s rights.
Look for Sonny to launch complaints during the week of March 14-18 and clash with Michael as well as Willow as a result.
