Sonny has decided to move forward with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), but his jealous side could come out in a big way soon.
As Carly and Drew head fully into romantic territory, it could bring Sonny’s worst impulses to the surface.
Sonny already seemed rather jealous when he walked in on Drew & Carly nearly kissing.
That happened in the home Sonny used to share with Carly, so it had to sting thinking Drew might officially move in one day.
Despite the divorce and Carly’s deepening connection to Drew, there’s a possessive part of Sonny that obviously still sees Carly as his wife.
Sonny will no doubt struggle once he has to watch the next phase of Drew and Carly’s relationship bloom.
During the week of August 22-26, GH spoilers say Carly and Drew will grow closer due to a Quartermaine charity picnic.
It could lead to Drew and Carly locking lips, but they’ll end up second-guessing their romance and whether they should move ahead with it.
However, some looming danger will reignite that spark and push Carly further in Drew’s direction.
Whether Sonny catches a glimpse at the picnic or just picks up on the change later on, you can bet he’ll definitely notice that Carly’s falling hard.
That’s the kind of thing that could really stir something up inside Sonny and potentially make him want to fight for Carly again.
Regardless, Sonny’s jealousy issues could upset Nina and create more drama in his own relationship.
Sonny certainly didn’t like it when he came home from Nixon Falls and found Carly preparing to build a life with Jason.
Since Sonny views Drew as the inferior twin, he’s sure to hate it if Carly and Drew’s romance goes too far!
