General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) has a dangerous plan that could put his life in jeopardy. Since Spencer believes Esme Prince (Avery Pohl) is “The Hook,” he’s decided to use himself as bait and hope it’ll lure her out of hiding.
Once she heard about this trap, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) insisted on being included.
The goal is to make Esme believe Rory Cabrera’s (Michael Blake Kruse) death pushed Trina and Spencer together romantically, which would rile her up.
Of course, there’s a huge flaw in Spencer and Trina’s scheme since Esme has been locked up at Wyndemere.
Esme isn’t “The Hook” at all, but that doesn’t really matter when it comes to the danger involved here.
There are clues that “The Hook” may be Heather Webber (Alley Mills) or an accomplice who’s working with her.
Regardless, it’s clear that although Esme isn’t doing the hooking herself, someone else is going after revenge on her behalf.
That means Spencer and Trina are already at risk, but they’ll be in even riskier territory once they start flaunting their connection.
Trina and Spencer’s charade may quickly become real considering how much they truly feel for each other.
Spencer just wants to get Esme out in the open, but he’ll be provoking the real villain’s wrath with this move.
It just seems like a terrible idea for Trina and Spencer to make the targets on their backs even bigger.
Naturally, we all know Spencer would move heaven and earth to protect Trina, so there’s no way he’ll stand by and let her get hooked instead of him.
If anyone is going to get stabbed, it’s probably Spencer.
Trina already lost Rory, so that was a devastating blow. Even though Trina didn’t love Rory the same way he loved her, he was a good guy that she cared about.
Can you imagine how Trina will react if Spencer’s life is on the line next?
Almost losing Spencer may be what it takes to finally push Spencer and Trina into being a real couple.
During the week of January 2-6, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will be skeptical about something and that could be that is “The Hook.”
Unfortunately, “The Hook” will also make another character her victim around the same time.
That could mean bad news for Spencer if his plan backfires and ends in a bloody disaster.
Since GH is short on anti-venom, that could raise the stakes if Spencer gets hooked and rushed in for emergency care.
Spencer could wind up in a desperate fight to survive thanks to his latest killer strategy updates.
