General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) may race to disrupt Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) trial with Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) evidence. Will Spencer’s courtroom bombshell bring a last-minute save?
Trina’s trial is set to happen later this summer, so she’s hoping for the best and preparing for the worst.
Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) has been providing a nice distraction, but Trina can’t help it if she still finds herself concerned about her fate.
During the week of June 6-10, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will bring up the future during a conversation with Trina.
It may be some casual mention on Josslyn’s end, but it’ll hit Trina hard as she realizes her future could be completely ruined.
Thanks to Esme, Trina could be knocked out of attending college, achieving her career goals and so much more.
The worst part is Trina could land in prison for something she didn’t do, but she’s got several important people in her corner.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) will obviously take a special interest in trying to exonerate Trina due to her connection to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner).
We’ll see Jordan work extra hard to make sure Trina gets off the hook if possible.
Rory wants to right this wrong, so he could come through for Jordan in some way – even as a rookie cop.
This could bring Rory’s moment to shine and prove he’s a valuable member of the PCPD.
However, Spencer has been secretly working to expose Esme and clear Trina’s name for quite some time.
GH spoilers say Spencer’s efforts will intensify during the weeks ahead, especially once this trial is on the verge of kicking off.
Despite how handsome and charming Rory is, he’s not the love interest we’re supposed to be rooting for here.
The show’s been pushing Trina and Spencer from the moment they brought Nikolas Chavez in as a recast, so “Sprina” seems to be their endgame.
Of course, it’s possible the writers will add to Spencer’s suffering by letting Rory be Trina’s hero instead.
That could delay the romance Spencer wants and prove frustrating if all his hard work’s been for nothing.
Nevertheless, summer preview spoilers make it sound like Spencer might unmask Esme once it gets down to the wire.
It’d be awfully dramatic if Spencer burst through the courtroom doors with proof that could get the whole case against Trina thrown out and expose Esme instead.
Trina will be grateful if Spencer is the one who saves her, but all the lies he’s told to make it happen could come back to haunt him.
A solid relationship is supposed to be built on trust, but Spencer has never given Trina a good reason to trust him – even when his motives were pure.
In other words, Spencer might save Trina and then face the harsh reality that his deception didn’t do him any favors!
It’s going to be a long road as we work our way to Trina and Spencer’s romantic future, but they should get there eventually.
