General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, April 14 Recap – Sonny & Brando Rough Up The Bad Guys – Josslyn Blasts Rory

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 14, reveals that Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) near-death experience rocked Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also decided to blast Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) after a blunder, so here’s how all Thursday’s GH drama went down.

At Charlie’s Pub, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tried to get rid of the masked robbers quickly and was unsuccessful.

He warned them not to hurt Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and prepared to hand over the money from the till, but he refused to give up Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) watch.

That angered the gunman and threatened to escalate the situation, but Brando saw the gunmen through the window.

After Brando urged Sasha to call 911, he burst through the door and attacked one of the gunmen. Sonny took care of the other one and hurled him across the bar.

Nina picked up a dropped gun and held it on the robbers, so the crisis was over.

Sonny told Brando that he did good – and Brando gave him a slight nod in response.

At the Metro Court, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) explained that she was trying to forward a copy of the forensics report from Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) email to her own.

Dante was upset over Sam breaking into his phone over police records she shouldn’t be accessing.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) tried to intervene and claim this was all her fault, but Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) dragged her off and insisted this was a couple thing.

Talk turned to Carly’s belief that Esme Price (Avery Kristen Pohl) was guilty and her takedown desires, but Drew thought Carly might have to let someone else take the lead.

There was also talk about the end of Carly’s marriage and how maybe she should focus on herself for a while.

Drew ultimately proposed a toast to resilience, but Carly wished things could just be easy.

However, Drew suggested the road ahead could still be an easy one and said they were just getting started.

At home, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) was cold to Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) when he showed up looking for a friend.

After Cameron lashed out over the way Spencer had been treating Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali), Spencer came clean about believing Trina was innocent.

Spencer insisted that his plan was to get Esme to let her guard down – that way, she’d slip up and give him a way to clear Trina.

Spencer thought it was too risky to tell Trina the truth, so he swore Cam to secrecy.

Spencer put Cameron in a terrible position by pressuring him to keep the secret from Josslyn as well.

Although Cameron agreed, he wasn’t happy about it and had concerns about Spencer trying to play the hero on his own.

Speaking of Josslyn, she met up with Trina and heard about her latest Spencer woes.

Trina then joined Josslyn at Kelly’s, where Joss admitted to some obstacles with Cameron and insisted they’d get through them.

Officer Rory Cabrera was out of his uniform and sitting at the counter.

Josslyn caught Rory staring, so she confronted him to see whether he was gawking at the video star or the criminal mastermind.

Trina came to Rory’s rescue since she remembered him as the officer who gave her a soda.

Rory introduced himself and told Trina to keep her chin up before he left.

Josslyn was apologetic and embarrassed over blowing up at a cop, but Trina seemed amused over the blunder.

Back with Dante, he told Sam that he had to be able to trust her if this was going to work. Dante then got called away on police business and took off.

Following the stopped robbery, Sasha was a mess over the danger Brando had been in. She warned Brando not to make a habit of it and secretly popped a pill.

Nina admitted to Sasha that the gunmen wanted her necklace, but Sasha insisted that a mother’s love could never be stolen.

Since Sasha seemed so rattled, Nina was concerned.

Sasha confessed that she could’ve lost Brando – and that wasn’t something she couldn’t bear after losing Liam Corbin.

Dante also showed up to ask Nina and Sonny some questions as part of the investigation.

Sonny was forced to consider whether it was a random robbery or if the gunmen knew his connection to Charlie’s Pub.

In a private moment, Brando confessed to Sonny about hearing some discussions at the garage.

There was a perception of weakness when it came to Sonny and his base of power, so Sonny decided he’d have to remind everyone who’s boss!

At the boxing gym, Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) complained to Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) since he didn’t think Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) was worthy of her.

Maxie defended her romance and pushed Spinelli to accept that she wanted to see where it went.

Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) also tried to apologize for how he handled the Deception song situation, but Brook Lynn brushed it off and wasn’t keen on talking to him.

While Chase confided in Austin about his fear that Brook Lynn was done with him, Maxie tried to give Brook Lynn another nudge toward Chase.

In the end, the four of them decided to go grab some smoothies together.

Once Spinelli made his way to the Metro Court and found Sam looking upset, he got updates on the latest Dante phone debacle.

Spinelli urged Sam to fix her mistake and make Dante see that he came first, so Sam sent an apology text and promised to do better.

General Hospital spoilers say Sam will have to rebuild trust, but she’ll do whatever it takes to make things right!
