General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, April 14 Update – Sonny Protects Nina – Carly Makes Things Worse – Chase Confesses

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 14, teases that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will protect Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) while Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) makes things worse across town. Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will also confess to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), though it may not be the exact confession she wants!

At the boxing gym, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will deal with some tension.

It looks like Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) will spot Maxie and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) in a lovey-dovey moment and express doubts about the romance.

However, Maxie is finally free of Peter August (Wes Ramsey) and doesn’t intend to waste another minute being unhappy.

There’s no reason why Maxie shouldn’t move full-speed ahead with Austin, so it seems Spinelli will just have to get on board.

Chase and Brook Lynn will also have a boxing gym encounter.

Their relationship got even more awkward after Chase rejected the idea of singing at the Deception event, so they need to fix it.

Chase will give it his best shot when he apologizes for letting Brook Lynn down. He’ll confess to the guilt he’s feeling and wonder how he can make things right.

Of course, Brook Lynn may brush Chase off and tell him not to worry about it.

The real problem is that Brook Lynn has more than friendly feelings for Chase – and he has those same feelings.

Neither one of them wants to end up heartbroken, but how long can Chase and Brook Lynn keep dancing around their true desires?

Time will tell, but Brook Lynn and Chase will surely find a path to romance eventually.

Speaking of a path to romance, Carly and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) are also on one.

They’re in no hurry to get where they’re going, but there should indeed be some sparkly scenes where Drew and Carly get closer.

Unfortunately, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) just made a mess of her own relationship.

When Sam realized Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) phone was right there for the taking, she guessed his passcode so she could look at the emailed forensics report.

Sam didn’t count on Dante returning and catching her with his phone in her hand!

GH spoilers say Sam will admit she wanted the latest evidence details.

Sam will mention how Carly first brought up the idea, but she’ll know she has to take responsibility here.

After Sam offers an explanation and assures Dante that she’s sorry, their relationship will still be strained.

Dante will be honest and insist he has to be able to trust Sam if they’re going to work as a couple.

It looks like Sam may relay the news of her botched mission to Carly a little later.

Carly will feel like she made matters worse, but Sam may acknowledge that no one forced her to betray Dante.

Sam should’ve respected boundaries, so she’ll fret over causing unnecessary drama.

Meanwhile, Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will lash out at Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez).

Cam will be frustrated over the video scandal and all the damage it’s done, so he’ll take some of that anger out on Spencer due to his Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) connection.

Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will track down Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as well, so that’ll give them a chance to confide in each other.

Trina and Josslyn both have plenty of issues to get off their chests!

At Charlie’s Pub, Sonny will try to get rid of the armed robbers. He’ll think they should hightail it out of there if they know what’s good for them.

Sonny will offer to let this incident go, but the gunmen will apparently stand their ground and escalate the danger.

Nina will be terrified, but Sonny will do everything he can to keep her safe – including putting his own life on the line.

It turns out Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will come back and enter the fray, so there’ll be some great action as Brando and Sonny join forces against the baddies!

Is this really just a simple robbery or could there be some mob motivations?

Charlie’s Pub may have been targeted due to its link to Sonny – and if that’s the case, there’s going to be even more trouble.

Sasha Gilmore Corbin (Sofia Mattsson) already lost Liam Corbin and couldn’t bear to lose Brando, too.

Although Sasha may understand why Brando had to step up in that moment, she won’t want it to become a regular occurrence.

What happens if Sonny eventually makes Brando an offer he can’t refuse?

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is irreplaceable, but someone has to fill the void – and Brando would certainly do a better job than Brick (Stephen A. Smith) or anyone else Sonny could slide in that position.

General Hospital spoilers say Brando may have to make a tough choice down the road, so stay tuned!
