General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, April 21 Recap – Maxie Mistakes Drew & Britt Dating Match – Finn Finds Chase Unconscious

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 21, reveals that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) mistook Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) as a dating match. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) also found Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) unconscious, so here’s how it all went down on Thursday’s GH episode.

While on surveillance duty at Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) place, Chase realized Aiden Webber (Enzo De Angelis) had ridden his bike over.

Aiden wanted to let his mom keep sleeping upstairs, but he sought Chase’s help and claimed it was for a school project.

After Aiden pulled out the Ouija board and explained his research, Chase didn’t expect anything to happen.

Aiden disagreed and thought someone wanted to talk to him, so they sat in front of the board with a lit candle.

Once Aiden asked if Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) had a message, Chase knew what all this was about.

The candle suddenly went out, so Chase blamed a breeze while Aiden insisted it was Franco.

Aiden then ran down the list of all the stalker incidents and acted like Franco’s ghost must be responsible.

Aiden worried the security cameras Chase installed might make Franco mad, but Chase insisted they would catch the real perp and called Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) to come get Aiden.

At the PCPD, Officer Rory Cabrera (Michael Blake Kruse) explained the confrontation at Kelly’s to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).

Jordan found out Rory took both Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) in for disorderly conduct.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) arrived since she was Spencer’s one phone call, so she pushed to see her grandsons.

Cameron’s phone call was to Finn, who showed up to help as well.

In lockup, Cameron and Spencer played the blame game over their earlier fight.

Spencer assured Cam that he wouldn’t press charges and thought he could get out of his own assault charge since it was an accident.

Laura eventually appeared and sent Cameron out to Finn with an officer. She was tempted to leave Spencer in there and objected to him referring to Officer Cabrera as “that guy.”

Laura made it clear that Spencer needed to show some respect, so he offered an almost decent apology and convinced Rory to let him off with a warning.

However, Laura asked what Spencer did to provoke Cameron.

Laura didn’t like Spencer’s cavalier attitude, so she basically told him to grow up and wondered what he was even doing with his life.

Cameron was also free to go, so he thanked Finn for coming to get him. Finn exchanged updates with Chase over the phone before heading home with Cam.

Meanwhile, Chase jolted awake up on the sofa at Liz’s house. He heard some sort of crash and checked the security camera feed before rushing to see what it was.

When Chase and Finn entered soon after, they found Chase unconscious on the floor. Finn quickly stooped down to check Chase’s pulse.

At The Savoy, Maxie was understanding when duty called and Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) had to cancel their date over the phone.

Maxie turned her attention to Damian Spinelli’s (Bradford Anderson) fashion choices instead and helped him shed a couple dorky accessories.

Spinelli hinted about seeking companionship again and learned Maxie was eager to hear about Britt’s date.

After Spinelli heard Britt used a matchmaking service, he decided to drive Maxie over to the Port Charles Grill to sneak a peek.

As for Britt, she kept waiting and waiting for her date. Britt decided the guy wasn’t going to show while Drew met with a woman named Mia (Vanessa Mathison) nearby.

Mia was an executive coach, so she walked Drew through his career options and found his take on things refreshing.

Britt eavesdropped and watched Drew as he wrapped up his chat, so she made fun of him for ending his date with a handshake.

Drew clarified that Mia was an executive coach, but Britt suggested sometimes it’s best to trust your instincts.

Britt pointed out that advice can lead you in the wrong direction.

When Maxie arrived with Spinelli, she rushed up to Britt and hugged her excitedly.

Maxie mistakenly assumed Drew was Britt’s match and thought that was amazing.

Britt explained that her actual date blew her off, but Spinelli insisted that no man in his right mind would stand her up.

Spinelli was oddly passionate about Britt not giving up hope on her matchmaking service.

Maxie clearly found Spinelli’s behavior strange, so she later asked if he was interested in Britt.

After Spinelli denied it, Maxie wondered if he was thinking of joining Society Setups himself.

At The Savoy, TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) talked to Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) about the background check and wondered what Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) was lying about.

Curtis acted like they’d find out soon enough.

Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) came out of the backroom since an associate had requested some cheap ale that Curtis didn’t have, so Selina Wu (Lydia Look) sent him to go buy some.

Later, Selina warned Brad that clients expected discretion since he screwed up by using someone’s name.

Ms. Wu expected Brad to learn fast on the job and made it clear that he shouldn’t make the same mistake twice.

Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) privately spoke with Selina about her decision to hire that “lying weasel” Brad.

Although Sonny thought it was a mistake, Selina defended her hiring choice and thought Brad would do fine under her supervision.

Curtis ultimately wanted Selina to give him the arrest record that she’d managed to unseal, but she decided to wait until first thing tomorrow morning.

As for Marshall, he told Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) that he was leaving town tomorrow.

Epiphany wondered if Marshall was really going to disappear on his family again and acted like he could get through this rough patch with Curtis.

General Hospital spoilers say Curtis will eventually get the bombshells he’s after, so stay tuned.
