General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 7, teases that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will make a disturbing Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) discovery while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) sets a tropical trap. Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) will also seek Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) out for a chat, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Nina will want to give Sonny some important updates, but she’ll be thrown for a loop when she finds him.
Sonny looks like he’s been in a fight, but that’s just the result of a good boxing workout.
Even so, Nina will be concerned when she first spots Sonny and will no doubt demand an explanation.
Sonny will offer one and insist it’s not so bad defending yourself in a controlled situation like that. It’s easier when you know the hit is coming in advance.
As for what Nina wants to talk about, that’ll no doubt involve this whole Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Viron Weaver) visitation thing.
Nina has tried every strategy she can think of when it comes to finding a way to spend time with her grandson.
Now that Nina has exhausted all other options, court is all she has left.
Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) may wonder if Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) really wants to let it come to that.
However, Willow’s mind will be made up along with Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) – and that means any chance to keep this civil will be dead and gone.
Nevertheless, Harmony will find Carly and perhaps wonder if she supports this case going to court.
Is it worth a giant legal battle when supervised Nina and Wiley visits could perhaps be worked out?
GH viewers know exactly where Carly stands on Nina, so she should support Michael and Willow completely when it comes to shutting Nina out.
Carly would wipe Nina off the planet if she could!
Michael will turn his attention to another problem when he presents Smoltz (David Lautman) with a proposal.
Michael willassure Smoltz that he’s not going to throw any more punches and will hope Smoltz is willing to strike a deal.
In exchange for dropping the assault charges, Smoltz should get a hot scoop – one that he may pitch to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) soon after.
Alexis won’t seem impressed on Thursday’s episode, so Smoltz may have a hard time getting The Invader byline he wants.
Nevertheless, Smoltz will keep at it, so we’ll see if he can pull off a victory in the end.
Michael and Willow will also hope for a win in court against Nina, but there’ll be more legal headaches as they prepare for this fight.
As for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), she’ll doubt that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) could ever really get behind a worthwhile cause.
Laura won’t see how they could ever align for a common goal either, but Victor will praise his own commitment and try to help her see a path forward.
Of course, Victor tends to be vague in these types of conversations, so Laura may end up with more questions than answers.
Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) is ready to fly to French Polynesia and become part of the Ice Princess auction, but she wishes Valentin would call her back and let her know he’s OK.
Fortunately, Valentin is just fine and happens to be going rogue with a little undercover mission of his own.
Now that Valentin has approached Jennifer Smith (Holly Gagnier) in disguise, he can fish for the information he wants – all while presenting a charming fake French version of himself.
Valentin will set a tropical trap for Jennifer, but this will definitely be risky.
Jennifer is a wildcard who’s known for resorting to trickery, so Valentin will have to be smooth.
Back in Port Charles, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will grab his phone and call for paramedics.
Even if Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) insists she’s all right, Curtis won’t want to take any chances with her health now that she’s keeled over.
General Hospital spoilers say the stress of Stella’s secrets doesn’t seem to be helping her health, so maybe she should come clean soon!
