General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, August 25, tease that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will get stuck in a crisis while Hamilton Finn’s (Michael Easton) secret shocks Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) will also threaten Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), so here’s what GH fans can expect.
In the stables, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) will sneak off for some alone time.
Now that Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is moving on and Spencer is facing Pentonville, it’s easy to see why he’ll be down in the dumps.
Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will reach out to Spencer, but his son will mostly push him away.
Even so, Nikolas will keep fighting to mend what’s broken. That goes for Nikolas’ relationship with Spencer as well as his marriage to Ava.
Speaking of Ava, she’ll face Victor’s threat on Thursday’s exciting episode.
Victor will warn Ava not to mess with the Cassadines and urge her to become a real part of the family – or else they’ll be fierce foes instead.
At the Metro Court pool, Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) will have some advice for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Although Nina declined Sonny’s picnic invitation, Liesl may think that was the wrong call.
Nina may argue that she didn’t want to put Sonny in a situation where he had to ride to her rescue.
However, there’s no reason Nina can’t ride to the rescue herself – and Obrecht will remind Nina of that.
Nina is more than capable of being her own hero, so she’ll get some guidance from Liesl and perhaps gain a new perspective.
It could leave Nina willing to walk into the fire instead of avoiding situations where Sonny’s family is involved.
Speaking of Sonny, he’ll get tangled up in a Quartermaine crisis. Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will freak as she makes a phone call, but she’ll also recruit Sonny to get his mob henchmen and pitch in on this emergency.
There’ll be some danger on the Quartermaine property, where Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will still be on cloud nine over their kiss.
This romantic turn with Carly will be a dream come true as far as Drew’s concerned.
Sadly, Drew and Carly are about to face a total nightmare along with some other picnic-goers.
A perilous situation will ruin the fun, so this should set up a mystery baddie’s appearance – and he or she will be armed with a hook!
Next, Elizabeth will make out with Finn and expect a pleasant surprise.
It turns out Finn will have a shocking admission instead – and that’ll no doubt involve his decision to call Liz’s sister, Dr. Sarah Webber (Sarah Laine).
Finn may argue that he didn’t know what else to do since Liz didn’t want him contacting her parents.
Unfortunately, Liz doesn’t have much to do with Sarah either and won’t like the fact that Finn’s inserting himself into her family’s drama.
This could launch another huge fight, but Liz will settle down during the week of August 29-September 2 and try to resolve her issues with Finn.
