General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Thursday, August 4, tease that Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will angrily demand setup answers while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) seemingly offers a deal to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer). Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will also turn to the cops for help, so here’s what GH fans can expect.
First, Dex will come running now that Sonny’s called him about an important job.
Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was out of options, so she turned to Sonny and pushed him to make sure Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) gets acquitted.
Sonny vowed to take care of it, so that may be where Dex comes in.
Since Ava made it clear that Esme wouldn’t be found in time, Sonny has to explore other angles to make sure Trina walks free.
Will Dex have to get involved in some jury tampering now that the case has moved to that stage?
That’s one option to consider, but we’ll see what exactly Sonny has up his sleeve and how he expects Dex to help.
Dex will assure Sonny that he’s down for whatever, so Sonny will suggest there may be a place for him in his organization.
It sounds like Sonny will plan to see how Dex handles this job – and if all goes well, a promotion will be in order.
Sonny has already been thinking about letting Dex take over Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) old position, so there’ll be a lot riding on this assignment.
However, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will hold out hope that Oz Haggerty (Max Faugno) can sink Esme and help clear Trina’s name.
The problem is TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) has been hesitant to bring Oz out of his medically induced coma too fast.
If Oz were to end up dead as a result, he’d be of no use to Trina – not to mention TJ would get in serious trouble. Even so, TJ may be willing to try something to get Oz awake quickly.
Curtis will seem excited about TJ’s plan, but it looks like Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will come along and wonder if they’ve both lost their minds!
Portia presumably won’t want TJ risking his career or a patient’s life, but maybe he’ll feel more confident at that point about bringing Oz around safely.
Trina’s future depends on this, so TJ will understand what’s at stake.
At Kelly’s, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will witness something shocking outside and give Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) updates.
Nevertheless, Carly will get the feeling Josslyn has more on her mind and will push her daughter to open up.
Josslyn may admit she’s upset about Cameron Webber (William Lipton) keeping such a huge secret from her.
Although Joss acted like she understood in the end, it still stings that Cam didn’t trust her with the truth about Spencer Cassadine’s (Nicholas Chavez) scheme.
After Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) speaks to Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) about his future at the police department, Brando will seek out the commissioner for help.
It appears Brando will grow increasingly concerned over missing Sasha and insist they have to take action now.
Brando won’t think they can wait since his Sasha spidey senses are tingling and telling him something’s wrong.
Of course, Brando is right since Sasha just caught Sienna Colby (Cynthia Zitter) in a car with Grant Smoltz (David Lautman).
The two of them were trying to set Sasha up, so she’ll demand answers now that she’s confronted them.
An altercation will break out at the Metro Court that ultimately brings the cops, so Sasha’s rage may get out of hand and cause quite a scene.
General Hospital spoilers say Sasha will continue to feel like her world is spinning out of control, so Brando will struggle to help her.
