General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 1, reveals that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) got a risky classified shipment offer while Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) collapsed. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also picked pre-med as her new major, so let’s talk about how all the GH drama went down.
At Rice Plaza, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) assured Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) that she could handle things alone until the volunteers arrived.
The Metro Court was behind the community holiday decorations this year, so Sasha filled Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) in after Nina left.
Chase needed a distraction and revealed his recent breakup with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
Sasha got updates on Brook Lynn being selfish and not helping Chase get his badge back.
However, Sasha reminded Chase of their fake affair and how they thought they knew what was best for Willow and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
That led to Sasha suggesting Brook Lynn might’ve thought she knew what was best for Chase, too.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn tried to give her civilian complaint review board letter to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
Although Brook Lynn stayed up all night working on it, Dante insisted it was too late since the meeting started 15 minutes ago.
Next, Dante caught up with Chase and Sasha before a notification came in on Chase’s phone.
Chase was disappointed to learn his appeal had been rejected, which meant it was final that he wasn’t a cop anymore and never would be again.
Back with Brook Lynn, she tearfully read the kind words she’d written in defense of Chase and crumpled the letter in frustration.
After Brook Lynn decided there must be something she could do, she made a phone call and pushed someone for help fixing her mess.
In Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) kitchen, she was surprised to learn Josslyn was switching her major to pre-med.
Josslyn felt helpless when Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) got shot and never wanted to feel that way in the future.
Carly worried that it was easier for Josslyn to change her major than admit her feelings for Dex, so Joss ultimately confessed she indeed felt something.
That said, Josslyn couldn’t define it and wasn’t sure it would last.
Once Josslyn reflected on Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) stabbing, she suggested she couldn’t have lived with it if Ava had died because she didn’t know what to do.
Josslyn was adamant about getting the training she needed so that wouldn’t happen again.
There was also talk about Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and how Josslyn’s feelings had changed.
Josslyn hated the idea of breaking Cam’s heart, but Carly warned it’d be harder on him the longer she waited to split.
At the Quartermaine gatehouse, Michael got Willow settled under a blanket after her chemo session.
Willow wanted to keep things normal, so she gently pushed Michael to go back to work and stop hovering.
When Nina showed up, Willow answered the door looking exhausted.
Nina asked if Willow would be willing to support Sasha, who took over the community Christmas decorating project and could use a friend.
That led to Willow admitting it wasn’t a great day for her and wondering if this project was good for Sasha or not.
It felt like another example of Nina spinning her own narrative and deciding what was best.
Nina eventually snapped at Willow for refusing to help poor Sasha when her own life was so perfect.
After Nina acted like Willow was selfish, Willow flew into a rage and repeatedly yelled at her to shut up.
Carly approached the gatehouse as Willow warned Nina to go away and leave her family “the hell alone.” Right as Carly burst in, Willow collapsed on the floor.
At Dex’s apartment, he dreamed about kissing Josslyn and woke up startled.
Michael brought Dex his phone back and found out about him getting help from Josslyn at the gatehouse for his gunshot wound.
Dex confessed to being really out of it, so Josslyn somehow got him back to her dorm room.
Michael wasn’t happy about Josslyn getting dragged into this – and he wasn’t pleased about Carly being the one to get antibiotics for Dex either.
Since Dex committed a crime by helping Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) escape, Michael didn’t want him to take Josslyn and Carly down with him.
Although Michael didn’t seem too concerned about Carly in the end, he insisted Dex needed to keep Joss at arm’s length.
Once Michael left, Josslyn arrived at Dex’s door.
In Sonny’s office, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) was there as an intermediary for a third party.
There was something in it for Valentin, but there was a lot more in this business proposal for Sonny.
Valentin explained that Pikeman Security Group was looking to move classified shipments through Port Charles, so Sonny would get $10 million for every successful one.
Sonny acted like there must be a catch since it seemed too good to be true.
Valentin was cagey about the favor he wanted from Pikeman in return for arranging this, but he needed Sonny to fully understand the situation.
If Sonny turned them down, they would use someone else to move their merchandise.
Since Sonny now knew about these classified shipments, that could make him a problem to be eliminated if he didn’t cooperate.
In other words, Sonny could either make millions or make a set of powerful enemies that could ensure he loses everything.
Valentin told Sonny that he wasn’t threatening him and was just the messenger in all this.
Once Sonny was alone, he called Brick (Stephen A. Smith) and pushed for all the info he could gather on Pikeman Security Group ASAP.
General Hospital spoilers say Sonny’s jam could lead to even more trouble, so stay tuned!
